[It might be a little sad, but Odin looks more startled by the touch than anything. He's very much like a feral cat, unused to physical contact and a little jumpy about it. But unlike a feral cat, Odin accepts the touch and doesn't pull away.

He sure does look away when Perci says that last but, though.]

I had to. I was the one who made the call. It's my responsibility to answer for it. I don't want anyone else getting hurt because of decisions I made.

( perci tilts his head, as if trying to catch odin's gaze. his tone is still soft, impossibly tender. he stamps down the ache in his heart, seeing odin startle at touch, but at least he isn't pulling away. )

And if Yata was the one to make the final call, would you make him shoulder that all on his own?

( he does let go of his face now, pulling back a little. )

Mmm, just want to make sure the big ticket items are out of the way.

( taps his nose. he'll feel an echo through his body, like a stone dropped into a still pond, ripples of healing magic smoothing and knitting skin together. )

[Woah. This all feels weird. Calming, but weird.

The healing does work to stitch his cuts back together, and he honestly feels a lot better. Though now the pain is being replaced by guilt.]

...you didn't have to, I don't wanna waste your healing.

I studied many years to use these skills! They're more wasted if I don't use them.

There's plenty of people who need healing all the time!

[He does flex his arms though. No pain now, they are good and healed!]

( he laughs softly at the face he's making, and presses a finger against his muscle as he flexes it to make sure of its strength. )

Good, good, everything feels in order now.

( ... lifts a hand to drop it gently on his head. )
