[ it's yata's business, and if he's not going to share, then that's fine. he is a stranger, so he gets it. ] I just wanted to see how you were all doing. [ but everybody's out and about and trying to kill each other, so... that says plenty. ]

Mm. [ he sighs. ] Agreed. I couldn't talk him out of coming over here... [ but he didn't really think he could. ]

[okay fantasia gets a smidgen of credit for respecting his privacy]

Nobody could. And nobody is gonna be good for a while, but we're dealing. I'm guessing it's the same for you?

I did tell him not to go overboard. [ aka, he asked him not to kill them, since that would not HELP, so he's hoping that he at least got through to him there. he is full of anger, murder, and revenge though, so we'll just have to see. ]

Tempo, go get the rest of the marshmallows we got from Daisy. [ the toolbox chirps and hurries off, returning with a big bag! one that he holds out to yata. ] Do you want some?

Are you one of the adult friends Crois and Tyr are going drinking with?

And yeah, they're coming over to later. I guess you heard them talking about it?

[well okay he's going to end up eating all of them]

They told me about it, yeah. There's a limit to how much they'll talk to a kid about their feelings, so I'm glad there's an old man club to let it all out at.

[ that's fine. he deserves them. ] Have you ever roasted them before?

Heh, good, so does that mean I can call you to pick them up when they've passed out on our kitchen floor? [ he's kidding. ] I think there's a limit to how much they'll talk about their feelings in general, but yeah it's- h- hey! I'm not old!!!

[shakes his head, about to get a bit more excited about the idea of proper camping when Fantasia gets offended]

Yeah. We have a bonfire at the back of Bluebell. Maybe you could come over sometime and we can roa- NOT TRUE! I am NOT OLD and I'm NOT FUSSING. I'm STATING FACTS. [ he huffs, turning a light shade of red, because he's getting embarrassed AND frustrated. ]

[his laughter doesn't have the raucous cheer it usually does, but he's chuckling with genuine amusement]

I want the bonfire! Let's do it!

[ STOP LAUGHING!!! ]

How about tomorrow? I'm sure we'll be scraping those two off the lawn in a few minutes, so today might not be the best time.

[BUT YOU'RE CHEERING HIM UP! YOU SHOULD BE PROUD!]

Today's already exciting enough, I'll come visit and hold you to that.

[ he is glad that he's cheering him up in spite of everything! ]

Alright. Give me a ring beforehand, so I can make sure I have everything I need on hand.
