[makes a tiny noise that might be a laugh, and leads him down the side door into the underground tunnel, and from there into the kitchen shared with Bluebell. there are drinks! there are snacks. there is Fantasia getting a head start on becoming wasted.]

. . . wow, this wasn't what I was expecting at all.

- the tunnel, I mean, not the drinks. [a beat] Or Fantasia being here already.

[lets his hand go (he does not get yeeted out) and gestures at a door on the other side of the kitchen]

That one leads to Bluebell. Other teams don't have shared facilities that I'm aware of, but both teams enjoyed the idea of this particular one.

Your teams are close, right? It seems nice, being able to share space.

It's an odd kind of close. We tried to rescue them once and they seem to have taken that as a cue to more or less adopt us ever since.

[waves a hand]

It does help that Styx and Minuet are from the same world, as are Rubato and Aides.

So, like a stray cat, more or less.

[he says it with a small grin]

I knew about Minuet and Styx, but I don't think I've met the other two. That would help the closeness, huh.

They just go to the same school, they are not terribly close naturally. But it does help, nevertheless.

Stray cats is a fair enough descriptor. And it has worked out well enough. I'm very fond of Bluebell.

Makes sense. Same world as Biscuit and Tart too, right?

[he smiles a little] I can tell. Glad it's worked out for you guys.

Mm, and Pond Fiend on Rose, and his twin brother, when he was here. Blossom pulled a surprising amount of folk from that same school.

[he doesn't know Floyd is back on a different flock yet, even]

Do Thistle and Daffodil get along in any sort of similar way? Or is it mostly you and Crois?

Ah—his twin is back, but he's on Thistle now. I don't think he remembers being here, it never once came up. Wonder if there's something about the school that makes it a popular target, though.

[he considers the question before he shrugs]

I think some of them are close with Biscuit, and I try to be friendly with all of them, since I'm there a lot. But it's nothing like you guys.

It does seem to have a high concentration of magic. Who knows...he doesn't remember, though, you say? That's troubling.

[another thing to add to 'sheep-induced nightmares' for the month]

As for the other...well...I suppose we must just consider ourselves lucky, then.

[his eyes actually turn to Minuet and Fantasia for the moment, something behind them softening suspiciously, before he looks away again]

Heh, it just brings up more questions. But yeah, it's a concern. I guess it hasn't happened before?

[sheep is real good for nightmares isn't it.

but he makes a noise of agreement and politely hides his smile behind his drink at the look]

I'd say so.

It hasn't happened before that I'm aware of, no.

[HE JUST. remains looking away from the Bluebells now. thank you]

He lowers his voice a bit as he takes another drink] I don't think anyone else heard you.

he kind of twitches a little bit. manages to convey the most puffy Pusheen aura even if he does not literally puff in any way]

And so they shouldn't.

[he gives Charon an amused look before he schools his expression into something much more neutral]
