REGROUPING
So let's get this clear right away: the mist is starting to eat the meadow. Don't go out beyond the fence without taking a sunflower with you. Sonata and Biscuit planted a wall of them near the fence, so just grab one on your way out if you must go.
The sunflowers replicate sunlight and you can navigate a little bit in the mist with them, but not much. They can also slow down the shadow beasts if you ever encounter one, but try not to encounter one. You really don't want to get bit.
I went on two different trips recently into the mist. One went significantly better, though we did encounter... the... "Wolf King". He apparently exists and he's a very large, very dangerous wolf. He's hunting "sheep" and "her"... I'm sure you can all guess who "she" is. Apparently, we all smell like her.
If the mist expanding means he gets more territory, we could be in serious trouble. Be extra cautious beyond the fence, I mean it.
...
...that being said, I want to consider taking a trip into the mist ourselves. Whatever Thistle did, I wonder if it'd be possible for us to reverse it.
Re: REGROUPING
That depends on what exactly they did, I guess.

Um... If you're warning about getting bit, is this some kind of werewolf thing?

However, Sonata and I both have one. So we're set if it ever happens to any of us.

[ Oh boy. ]
What did Thistle do, anyway? I'd think they're gonna have a better idea on how to reverse it.

Re: REGROUPING
Do you think we actually could? I don't even know what it's like out there past what I've been told.
Re: REGROUPING
...and our set of skills is particularly useful if we do get caught. The ability to potentially redo an encounter could be vital in a trip like that.
Re: REGROUPING
I'm still not a great fighter, though. I'd have to stay behind everyone. I could be a support though, I guess? Using good luck or bad luck or healing.

That said, if you've encountered the Wolf King... maybe it's best that we wait a bit? He may still be close...
Re: REGROUPING
...I'm not used to other people caring this much about what I do. I'll try to remember that.
Though I've reached the same conclusion, considering how poorly the latest trip went. We'll also need to wait until Death's eye closes, so we'll have plenty of time to prepare.
Re: REGROUPING
... If it closes at all- it hasn't opened this early before, has it? And apparently we just keep killing demons. The pasture may have done something terribly wrong.

Encounters with Various Mist Related Flora and Fauna
Zenith; Fantasia, Blood "Fifi" Fiend, Angel Devil, Teleute, Apothecary Cat, Lupin, Thistle et al.
INTRODUCTION
The "Mist" or "Fog" or "Dangerous Spooky Shit Just Outside The Meadow" is an unfortunate aspect of the realm we're stuck living in for the foreseeable future. Although the Pink Sheep and the Black Sheep have warned us against it, no one seems to give a shit about what they have to say, and several expeditions into the "Mist" (as it will henceforth be called) have taken place with various degrees of success. The intent here is to document the results of these encounters in the form of: Emotional Effects of the Mist, Flora, and Fauna.
EMOTIONAL EFFECTS
Creeping Sense of Dread: The most common feeling within the Mist. It is an unnatural feeling that is brought on the moment you step inside, as if we aren't meant to go in there. Gee. Maybe the sheep were right. It's unavoidable, so try not to let it affect your decision-making.
Shepherd Sense: A "Shepherd", as those who wield the crooks are known as, are capable of "sensing" the way out of the Mist and back to the Pasture. There's nothing scientific about it, and nothing to prove its accurate. It's just a feeling, but it hasn't served me wrong so far.
Weed Sense: As it turns out, those under the designation of "Weeds" actually have a use. They are capable of seeing their way through the mist, though both expeditions thusfar have not lead us anywhere notable. However, you will need to remain in constant physical contact with the Weed, or you are likely to become separated.
FLORA
Wolfsbane: The only thing that we've found growing out in the Mist. It is also, conveniently, the only cure to a "Werewolf" (see below) that doesn't involve killing them. If someone is bitten but not turned, brew the Wolfsbane into a tea and drink it before sundown. If the person is already a Werewolf, they must eat it. Good luck tricking them into doing that, I got my arms torn off for it.
Sunflowers: While not found out in the Mist, the sunflower so far has proven to be the most effective defense against both the mist itself and the creatures that reside within. It emits natural sunlight that cuts through the mist, and is capable of blinding and stunning the Mist Beasts for a small period of time depending on the size of the beast. Bring at least one with you if you go beyond the Pasture. Don't be stupid.
Dead Shit: Everything else out here is dead.
FAUNA
Mist Beasts: Also commonly called "wolves" or "mist wolves", though that is an erroneous name, as they can form into any manner of creature. So far I have encountered the following types: wolf, bear, bird of prey, snake. They are capable of merging together if particularly threatened, and I noted one absorbing a deer to grow three wolf heads. There was also an instance of a Weed merging with a Mist Beast to empower it, though it's yet unknown if that power was specific to that particular Weed.
THREAT RATING: Medium. They're easy to kill if you know where to hit, but if bitten, you will become Infected. Only engage if you are capable of long-range combat. See the section below on Werewolves for more information.
Werewolf: The result of a member of one of the Flocks getting bitten by a Mist Beast. Though they typically turn past sundown after leaving the Mist, if you are too deep within the Mist when bitten it is possible that you may turn immediately and proceed to attack. It is yet unknown if Weeds can be turned, though I don't recommend trying to find out. The only cure worth knowing about is by ingesting Wolfsbane (see above) depending on level of turning, but they can also be cured by cutting out their heart and letting it bake in the sun. Note: May be worth asking if this is still possible if the Werewolf does not initially have a heart before turning.
If left in the Werewolf state for too long, it will cause irreparable mental damage and they may remain a Werewolf for the rest of time. Or something. There is a possible connection to the Wolf Skeletons that attacked us some time ago, though so far we have no evidence to prove this theory.
THREAT RATING: High. The bites are contagious, so if during the fight to get the Werewolf to ingest Wolfsbane you find yourself bit, drink Wolfsbane tea immediately. Their threat rating is higher than the Mist Beasts as lethal force is ill-advised. This could be your Flockmate,
or your idiot boyfriend[Exhibit a]
Exhibit a: A rough drawing of the Wolf King, sketched by Apothecary Cat after an encounter with him.
Wolf King: I don't care how sentient he is, I'm classifying him under fauna. See Exhibit a: this is a monstrously sized creature with the head of a wolf. His body appears to be made up of several other animals, though he was too large and too obscured by mist to get a good look at. We also got out of there very quickly. Because why wouldn't you. He despises Blossom, and can smell her on us. Once sighted by him, expect the Mist Beasts to be on higher alert for at least a few days.
THREAT RATING: Impossibly High. Get the fuck out of there, because if I can't win, then you definitely can't win.
Cave Ram Demon: Presumed dead. Resided in a cave within the Mist once accessed by Thistle. By Lupin of Thistle's recollection, the Cave Demon offered him a bargain that involved a sacrifice. This sacrifice would supposedly push back the Mist, though we have no proof that this would actually work. We do, however, have proof that stealing previous sacrifices and/or blowing up the demon with a bomb causes the Mist to take over more of the Pasture. It's inconclusive which of the two was actually responsible.
THREAT RATING: High. Do not engage, either to kill or bargain with.
Gold Statues/"Sheep": Found within the cave with the Cave Demon, presumed to be sacrifices from previous Shepherds. Once retrieved (read: stolen), it turned into a person, and then that person turned into a purple sheep like the ones commonly found around Thistle. It can be assumed that all of the various colored sheep we live with used to be "people". This is almost certainly our fate should we fail whatever we're meant to be doing here. How absurd.
THREAT RATING: None. They're all over our barn and they're dumb as fuck.
"Shepherd" King: Not necessarily a Mist related entity, but worth mentioning. According to the Cave Ram Demon, they entered a "pact" and that's why the Cave Ram Demon was offering his bargain to push back the Mist. Presumably dead, and also apparently Stormy's father. Maybe don't rub it in his face that his dad is dead. Or do, I don't care.
THREAT RATING: None(?) He's fucking dead, but he's also "our" supposed King.
Red: The very same "sheep" that runs a shop in town. Myself and several others (notably: Blood "Fifi" Fiend, Lupin) have reported following Red into the Mist. I lost sight of him fairly quickly, but he seemed to be aware of a thinner area of the Mist that was easier to navigate through.
THREAT RATING: Medium. Engage with caution, and not just because his bargains are annoying.
Marionettes: Otherwise known as "puppets". However, for undisclosed reasons, we will be henceforth referring to them as "Marionettes". These are small, annoying, pathetic creatures made out of weak, easily-destructible wood. They have the potential to latch on to someone and take control of their body. However, they are easily detached and can simply be torn off and crushed into the dirt.
THREAT RATING: Low. Kill on sight.
Dead Shit: There are a lot of seemingly normal animal carcasses out here, though we've never encountered any living creatures other than the mist beasts.
CONCLUSION
The Mist is manageable if you aren't stupid and you know what to look out for. Also, we should probably stop killing demons.

Cacophonie will take The Documents and very seriously, very carefully study the contents until he's confident he can repeat any part of it on command (and then again because he's not actually confident) (and then an hour later he's back checking this or that again)
At least he does it after the others are already done probably.]
