The quick explanation is that I have a dangerous power that can go crazy if I lose control of it. The easiest way to keep everyone here safe if that happens is to knock me out quickly. Some kinda powder to inhale would be best, since that can be thrown at me from far away if need be. Something I have to swallow would be really dangerous but also better than just killing me.

It doesn't have to be for a period of time. Even a few seconds is enough. Falling unconscious is enough to get my ability to stop.

It would basically be playing with your poison tolerance, too. Your body would eventually build a resistance to it, so we would need to increase the dosage... in which case, it's better to start you on the lowest possible...
