WHERE: Everywhere, but near the Big Fence
WHEN: Just before sunset.

[Life has been SLICING in the pasture, good shit!! It's also been getting a lot warmer. Well, it is summer(?) spring(?) there is no calendar here don't worry about it.

But there is some SIGNFICANT heat coming from a portion of the fence and--oh. oh no. Is that Patches? Is he setting the fence on--yeah he's setting the fence on fire. Is anyone surprised??

As soon as the wood burns away, mist begins pouring into the pasture, forming into foggy, wolf-like beast. It snaps up the first sheep it sees, shaking it like a ragdoll and leaving it a messy pulp before looking for bigger prey.

But that isn't the only issue. More mist is still pouring through the broken fence, but. . .it's not forming wolves. It's just creepily, quickly, spreading across the pasture.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. So anyone who had those friendship stars? They begin to jingle just as the fence breaks. Then they float into the air. . .and shoot off. They're not so fast that you can't follow them, however, and they're heading to outer meadow.

SO WHAT'S HAPPENING?

1) STARS. Wanna ignore this shit and follow your star? Do so here.

2) But for real someone should probably deal with the FENCE and WOLF before Patches lets more murderwolves in.

3) Ain't got time for either of that? Away from the nonsense! Cool! The mist is still creeping about. If you happen to inhale or walk through or otherwise come in contact with the mist, you'll experience on of two effects:
A) Prey - You are suddenly overcome with emotion and extremely clingy. You want someone to comfort you-you might cry on them. You might hug them, begging them to stay with you. You just want someone there with you.

B) Predator - What is this IRRITATION. You're fussy, you're in a sour mood, and you want to know where YOUR PEOPLE ARE. You find yourself being far more protective than normal and snapping at anyone who you deem a threat, or at anyone who doesn't want to be yours.

OR YOU JUST COMPLETELY MISS THIS, IT'S FINE. It's just one wolf! How hard can this be!]

he's seen Yas in several stages and the aftermath of a fight. he has also seen a lot of combat mages in every stage of a war, and his own face in the mirror the morning after using a spell that massively overtaxed his own body. he doesn't have to mindread to be able to do this particular math.]

So, something that required your abilities, was not necessarily physical, and that you are determined not to make my business for some vital reason; is that right?

I'd ask if you truly wanted me to stumble into said business blindly at a later date.

Knowing what you get mixed up in and that this did involve another party? I wouldn't believe you.

But the point stands. If there is a danger, I would wish to know about it. If there is a problem you are dealing with that has some potential resolution, I would wish to know about it.

[he's getting followed upstairs I GUESS. back to the scene of the many crimes. it'd be funny if there was randomly another dead bird in here but luckily there isn't]

he plops down on a windowsill and sticks his hand in his pocket, bringing out the jar of lavender iced tea. unscrews the lid, sniffs. it smells good. ]

I'd offer you some, but I only have one of these. And you did just follow me up here like some kind of lost child.

[ get some more interesting hobbies, Charon. this isn't the first time you've followed him.

starts sipping. ]

[gives him another very level look, then settles on a different windowsill seat (Yas did you really want him an inch from tipping out of the lighthouse again?) and takes a slim book from the library out of the pocket, settling in to read]

[ he is pointedly not thinking about the other incident, tyvm. surely Charon has the capacity to learn. making the same terrible decisions twice? who would do that?

the tea is flavorful, clearly brewed with care. he'll have to thank Sonata properly later. continues sipping.
