WHO: Anyone
WHERE: Everywhere, but near the Big Fence
WHEN: Just before sunset.
[Life has been SLICING in the pasture, good shit!! It's also been getting a lot warmer. Well, it is summer(?) spring(?) there is no calendar here don't worry about it.
But there is some SIGNFICANT heat coming from a portion of the fence and--oh. oh no. Is that Patches? Is he setting the fence on--yeah he's setting the fence on fire. Is anyone surprised??
As soon as the wood burns away, mist begins pouring into the pasture, forming into foggy, wolf-like beast. It snaps up the first sheep it sees, shaking it like a ragdoll and leaving it a messy pulp before looking for bigger prey.
But that isn't the only issue. More mist is still pouring through the broken fence, but. . .it's not forming wolves. It's just creepily, quickly, spreading across the pasture.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL. So anyone who had those friendship stars? They begin to jingle just as the fence breaks. Then they float into the air. . .and shoot off. They're not so fast that you can't follow them, however, and they're heading to outer meadow.
SO WHAT'S HAPPENING?
1) STARS. Wanna ignore this shit and follow your star? Do so here.
2) But for real someone should probably deal with the FENCE and WOLF before Patches lets more murderwolves in.
3) Ain't got time for either of that? Away from the nonsense! Cool! The mist is still creeping about. If you happen to inhale or walk through or otherwise come in contact with the mist, you'll experience on of two effects:
A) Prey - You are suddenly overcome with emotion and extremely clingy. You want someone to comfort you-you might cry on them. You might hug them, begging them to stay with you. You just want someone there with you.
B) Predator - What is this IRRITATION. You're fussy, you're in a sour mood, and you want to know where YOUR PEOPLE ARE. You find yourself being far more protective than normal and snapping at anyone who you deem a threat, or at anyone who doesn't want to be yours.
OR YOU JUST COMPLETELY MISS THIS, IT'S FINE. It's just one wolf! How hard can this be!]

Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
Though he doesn't have time to see the results of that as a fog wolf charges forward. Can a fog wolf even be shot? Reaching behind his back he pulls out an arrow and knocks it as quickly as he can, while simultaneously casting a spell.
If the wolf loves him it won't go in for the attack, will it?]
Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
If it worked.
Love spells do not work on it. Neither do the arrows stop it for long.
TIME TO LUNGE AT A LITTLE BLUEBELL.]
Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
With a flick of his pen there's a wave of freezing water headed in the wolf's direction, followed by a shock of electricity.]
Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
Pond Fiend!
[ Will his magic have been enough?]
Be careful! My powers on Bluebell do not work against it!
Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
that would do it.
While status effect and charms don't work on it--elemental magic? Yeah. Yeah, that's effective. The wolf barely has time to let out a howl as its frozen solid, and then sizzled by the wave of electricity.
When the ice prison shatters, the wolf evaporates into thin trails of mist.
One down!!]
Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
Then he starts backing up toward Crescendo, and when he finally turns to him he's looking the smaller boy over with a frown to make sure he isn't injured anywhere. There's something significantly more feral about his actions than usual.]
Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
Thank goodness that worked.
[ When his own had turned out to be completely ineffective, he had felt panicked for a moment. Though the other boy seems rather tense? He supposes fighting can do that. It isn't as though there aren't other threats still out here.]
Are you alright?
Re: Fence and Wolf Issue
I'm fine.
[Breathe.]
You can't shoot mist with an arrow. It could have hurt you. Don't act foolishly.

I didn't know what else to do, beyond to try and make it fall in love with me. But that wasn't effective at all, either.

[Huff!]
It wouldn't have been good enough for you anyway.
no subject
. . . Thank you. For stopping it before it struck me.

[ It's not like he's actually budged an inch though. ]

I'm going to take you to safety now, alright?
[And by that he means he's going to lift Crescendo into an unnecessary princess carry.]
no subject
Wait-! We should stay to help if able. I would feel wrong being carried to safety while everyone else remains behind.
And there is another thing!
no subject
They're fine.

no subject
Fine. I'll help them after I get you to safety.
[Not that he'll have to.]

[ Stubborn. ]
I'm not letting you just wander into danger without me. I'm going to stay with you!

[ He was definitely able to toss that fire fellow. ]
You take care of the wolves, and I will handle the weeds. I want to stay with you. If you carry me off somewhere, I shall just come back!

[ Wiggling to be set down. ]
Let us stay here and help.
