LILY INFO MEETING
no subject
perci is reading (???) off of something in a little book. if someone glances over, they'll see that he's not reading words but pictures. )
We have a lot to discuss. The Fountain's Eye opening, the fish flying free, our new arrivals and departed friends, and our winnings from that last ritual.
( a beat. )
We should... probably look into getting some sort of table for meetings like this. Ah, well - one thing at a time.

Werewolves
Basically, if ya go out into the fog, ya can risk gettin' bitten by somethin'. If you're bit, you'll be under the curse and change into a feral wolf by next night fall. And if you bite someone, ya infect them with the same shit. From what Blossom and Stormy said, it happens each night until the person loses all reason and stops transformin' back to normal.
Only cure's a plant called Wolfsbane. Fortunately, Fantasia found some when he was out in the fog and got bit. Already transformed cursed people can only be cured if they ingest it while transformed. People who've been bit but haven't transformed can drink a tea. Only other option involves killin' the transformed person and doing a whole ritual thing by rippin' their heart out.
[loooong paaause tho, clearly has another detail and looks so long suffering about it.]
... people who got bit but haven't transformed also can spread the curse. By bitin' or... anythin' that involves saliva or... maybe just fluids in general, but long and short of is Fantasia bit Minuet and Zenith, so they were contagious. And Bluebell's healin' conditions means I got infected, too.
We all got tea and I guess Bluebell handled Fantasia fine, since they woulda fed him the plant after the whole drinkin' ritual. So no wolves now. But all this does explain why there were skeletons of wolves with bells on that one time.

I am... incredibly disturbed by that.
By "that", I mean all of it, but. The way of spreading the curse is even more hair-raising than I expected.

This has been distributed to the other shepherds now, so everyone in the pasture ought to be aware before the day is out. It's not a good time to take especial risks--and yes, yes, I know it is me saying that.
There is also the matter of the black collars, and the grudge at least a couple of them seems to bear Lethe.

new arrival talk!
[That's one way of putting it.]
If it'd make things easier for you all, do you wish to know how I - and my fellow new arrival - can contribute to the flock? This realm has attenuated my abilities somewhat, but I hope they can prove useful to you all in some way. Especially if this... 'flying fish' decides to return with nefarious intentions.
[Imagine that: Fish Dabi with wings!]

Since Death's watchin' again... and with the news about how bad that shit is if ya die...
I know I said death'd be a mercy in the event myself or Minuet get our bodies hijacked or something, but gonna haveta call it to be clear: killin's off the table.
And for the new kids: yeah, there are things that'll hijack yer body and control ya here. Only happened once that I saw so far, but once is enough of a precedent that we gotta plan for it. So I'm also gonna hit up Red for info on power negation since Cerby's gone. Honeysuckle is one method for sure, but that effects everyone with powers within a certain range, so hopin' we can find somethin' that can be controlled more defensively than just on all the time.
Honeysuckle's a plant-creature, for the record. If ya go out to the forest, make sure y'have at least one person without special powers from before this place. They won't be affected by it and can get ya out if needed.
[in fact, there's a lot of tl;dr for the newbies, sorry about that.]

[Right near the tailend of the meeting, Byleth piped up with those dreaded words. Truth was, since coming to this realm Sothis had been so quietly asleep it had slipped his mind, but if the possibility of her waking up again happened once more then... he should probably forewarn his flock.]
I'm a vessel for an entity called- [Oh, he can't recall her name?? Uh um. Her title, then?] -the Progenitor, who can possess me on occasion. You should probably be mindful of this, in case I begin acting... erratically.
