WHO: Rose & interlopers
WHERE: Rose Barn
WHEN: day 11
It's been a minute so: new barn post time! Yesterday was chaos! Today, we have a full flock!
Rose Barn status: Really Nice kitchen, half-heartedly maintained firepit out front (it's literally an ashen bald spot in the grass with some half burned bits in it) a rather tasteful firepit, pretty but uncomfortable red velvet couch, and as many fancy pillows as you could ever want. Also there's the pretty crystalline rose sculpture that gives you flock powers, but I'm going to rule Angel Devil has hid the sign explaining their powers so no visitors start wondering what "literal emotional support" means.

I couldn't ever find that pink sheep, though... I tried looking for a while. You sure you weren't just bullshitting me?

In the meantime, I'd like to ask you a few questions. Do you know much about the other groups we have here?

Can you tell me what kind of place "Clover" is?

Formerly led by the daughter. Red eyes, orange mop, bit of a brat. They switched up the one holding the shepherd's crook shortly after the... incident described.
no subject
Wait, what is the shepherd's crook supposed to mean?
no subject
The crook means you're the 'leader,' as designated by the powers-that-be. Some people take it seriously, some don't. Shadow Fiend is more of a... laissez-faire, do as you will sort, which serves me just fine. I'm had enough flags to rally under in my life already.

Ah...
Some of the black collars are dangerous. Bluebell are rather gregarious, if demonstrably foolish, Lily are....
[ glances out the window at where boatgate happened ]
...Necessary, I've concluded, and Purple-- Thistle-- whatever they're called, are another gaggle of untended youths, all boys, if I recall correctly. They seem... independent, in the way of a well-stocked treehouse.
no subject
Necessary sounds ominous in its own way. I thought all the groups were random?
no subject
...the groups are... they're something, at least. Maybe the word is "appropriate?" There's also a fun little catch, to being on a flock, that we're allotted... certain new tricks we might not have had, before. Like this!
[ a pair of vines curl up out of the hay lining the floor, and he hands them the nail polish and cap. Working together, the pair secure the cap back on, and the extraneous one left not holding the polish retreats back into the earth. ]
...Anyway, Lily's own skillset is... particularly useful to the public good.

[HE'S... GOING TO POKE THE VINE?!?]
no subject
Oops. Must've slipped our minds. There's a little more to Rose than just vines, too, but... [ evaluating look... ]
Let's... start you off with the easy one. Go on. I find it helps to do a little push, in the air, with your hand, until you get used to it. Try to call for one yourself.

[He hesitates, not trying it at first. If he does it himself, that feels like the final piece of evidence that the supernatural is real.
But finally he does extend his hand, pushing in the air to urge a vine out of the ground.]
no subject
[ very faint "clap clap" because his nails still haven't dried ]
Look at you, a regular green thumb. I take it you're not too used to things like this?
no subject
[He carefully touches this one, too. It's just a vine! Again! Though his has more thorns on it, because he doesn't know to make it without thorns.]

I'm perfectly organic, thank you.
