[ a bit of a laugh as he climbs out of the pool. he’s just as soaked as his poor notepad. ] It’s not like there’s much to do here, but how about it we head into town?

I’ll grab a towel from the barn, but, yeah, right now…

[eonsadrift]

...but... weren't you... [ He looks between Fantasia and the kiddie pool, but relents with a sigh. ] Fine. It's not like I have anything better to do.

It's been over an hour. Here's to hoping the moat will be filled with gravel when we return. [ he shakes off his notepad. ] I don't know if you or the rest of Clover would be interested, but maybe I can help you with a garden of your own.

The kids would... probably like that. [ He tilts his head, thinking. ] My skills lie more in killing things than keeping them alive, though. I'm really not a gardener.

I thought it might be a nice idea. Not only is it something to be enjoyed once it’s finished, but the journey to completion isn’t half bad either.

That’s part of the reason I’m offering my help, assuming you’d even want it. But it would also mean getting to spend more time with you.

I wouldn't be any good with a garden, and it'd be nice if we wouldn't have to rely so much on other teams for food. So provided you keep yourself useful, I don't mind keeping you around.

...that again, yes. And I don't intend to completely invalidate myself. Like you said, Zenith, I need to make sure I'm still of some use around here. If you need some specific veges, then you'll have to come to Bluebell. I'll help you get started with some of the same that the community garden has.

[ ......he pouts. ] Ugh, I just said I want to rely on the other teams less... but I guess if I'm going to eat anything, I do prefer vegetables to meat.

I still want to try and figure out a way to grow rice. Is that something you're willing to help me with, or do you want to keep that locked up in Bluebell's garden too?

[ he can't help but smile at that. ] I'm just taking your advice. I don't want to be useless. I want you to keep coming back to me... and, what's this, I'm not just any team. [ tsks. ]

I'm sure I can help with that. [ he shakes his head. ] No. If that's important to you, then I can help you figure out rice for your garden. Let's find somewhere nice to sit and we can start planning it out. I'll need your input after all.

You're... [ huff. ] Whatever, fine.

Somewhere less wet is probably better. Don't you need to look at how our barn is set up to start planning? We can find somewhere to sit by Clover.

Mm, that sounds fine. But, yes, let me see what I'm working with. I can't imagine our barns are too different at the moment. [ neither of us won anything. ] Lead the way.

...nothing, forget it.

They're in different locations. That's something. [ He shrugs and starts leading the way back to Clover's barn. ]

[ he doesn't think it's necessary to comment, so he just follows. ]

[ He doesn't have anything else to say either so he leads Kaveh to the Clover barn in silence. He stops once they get there, looking around at their... somewhat dismal barn accommodations. ]

We have... large cushions in the barn, but it's otherwise still a mess. Sitting outside is probably better.

...we don't have much either. A handful of mattresses and that's about it. [ he shakes his head. ] That's part of the reason I'm working on sprucing up the place. I have some plans for the barn, itself, but that's going to take a lot of work. And materials. At least a garden is much easier, and my vision can help with that. But, mm, sitting outside is fine with me. We can sit in the space of the soon to be garden if you like.

Our barn is what you get when you let a bunch of kids try to decorate a room. It's a mess and I doubt it'll get any better. [ He gestures around the pasture. ] Pick a spot, then. You're the...

[ he has to think on this ] ...architect.

Are you going to try and have any input? Or are you letting them do whatever they want? [ he's going to walk to the far end of the pasture and take a seat, patting the space beside him as he takes out his notepad. ] Is there anything that you like? that you'd want to see for this?

...I don't know. [ He sits down next to him and leans over just enough to be able to watch Kaveh draw. ] You're asking a lot of questions. Isn't it your job to figure out the design?
