WHO: anyone
WHERE: anywhere
WHEN: Day 9, morning through to late afternoon
[well there's still new landmarks to explore, new teammates (and new ragged individuals) to meet. occasional gunfire's been resounding through the woods sometimes, scaring birds up into the air and sending wandering pygmidillos in the meadow askitter.
what are you up to this fine day?]

Re: post-meeting
[he could actually test this on his own, he HAS their blood in that form, but]
I ask because if so, it is less trouble for Rose to gradually collect and transport it in that form, than to drain yourselves in times of crisis only.
Re: post-meeting
[ thinks back to the annoying headache he'd gotten from healing his favorite Lily. being level 30 SUCKS. ]
Can't say I've tried. Clever idea, though.
[ free dehydrated Rose DNA for everyone! Charon, you would have made an excellent Workshop employee. ]
Re: post-meeting
What did you want to know of our illusions?
Re: post-meeting
Re: post-meeting
I haven't tried. Shall we?
Re: post-meeting
Don't trip.
[ leading the way to the mist!! he's walking slowly, gotta be gentle with the blind man. ]
Re: post-meeting
they wind up at one of the intermediate parts of the fence, where it's set solidly between the mist and the open meadow. he waits for Yas's go-ahead before tossing out an illusion with a casual flick of his fingertips: instead of a dragon, a gryphon untwisted by the nuances of nightmare.
planted on the grass of the meadow itself, it seems fine enough, but the side of it nearer the mist flickers faintly.]
Re: post-meeting
disappointing, but he can't help but laugh. ]
You're lucky you can't see.
Re: post-meeting
Re: post-meeting
[ sighs. HIS MASTER PLAN, RUINED. ]
You reckon you could make the lake look like the safe pasture? Specifically barns.
Re: post-meeting
The illusions work at the lake. They have a range, however; it is likely you would need more of Lily, to reproduce the entire meadow.
Who are you trying to drown, Blood Fiend?
Re: post-meeting
[ eyes open wide, horrified. even if Charon can't see his expression, it certainly comes through in his tone. what's with this violent misconception??? ]
Some poor homeless guy tried to set fire to our barn, but he tripped and hit his head before he could finish the job. We considered letting him stay with us out of the kindness of our hearts, but a constant fire hazard is a little much, even for us.
At the same time... if he were to get himself eaten by lake GatorDawgs, it wouldn't be our place to interfere. Free pasture and all that.
Re: post-meeting
I fail to see why you did not just put him down by their territory while he was dazed.
Re: post-meeting
he shrugs. ]
It would have been more informative to have him wander into the mist.
Re: post-meeting
This is one of the new ones, correct? I've heard tell of them already; black collars and ragged clothing.
Re: post-meeting
I heard that the snake summoned them.
Re: post-meeting
It doesn't seem he's exactly giving them guidance unless they seek it out, though.
Re: post-meeting
[ thanks Blossom. ]
Was their summoning as much of a surprise as ours was?
Re: post-meeting
Spare the friendlier ones your lake-based wrath to start with, if you can. There aren't many of them, and I want to see what the snake is trying to accomplish.
Re: post-meeting
Re: post-meeting
Re: post-meeting
Re: post-meeting
Somehow, that doesn't refute the observation.
Do you actually want to try such a thing?
Re: post-meeting
[ they're not violent!!! ]
If you do, I'm all ears. For the record, one of my teammates suggested strapping him to Cerby, but I don't know how much Cerby would like that.
Re: post-meeting
Why don't you just point him at a better target than the barns?
