Not for walking or trotting. Leg reaches further, but still move legs in same order.

No, harder to balance like that. Watch four-legged animals walk or try crawling: front leg does not move until back is stepping down.

Right. So will have to teach sheep not to move middle leg exact same time as front leg.

They're all kinda dumb, it takes some time and practice.

Practice is important... Um. Could get something to loop around its elbows? Not tightly, but to tug on middle leg when front leg moves.
