That's true. If we're gonna kill him, it'd better be some time when it'll stick. So I guess all we can do for now is make ourselves too much trouble to fuck with. Or see if Red'll make our barn fireproof. Both? Probably both.

Easy to distract's good to know... I mean, it was awfully easy for me to sneak up on him. So I guess that's one strategy to keep in mind.

Tie him up, put a weight on his leg, and leave him floating in an inner tube in the middle of the river.

I'd say blindfold him, as the sway of the water would disorient him and possibly keep him from easily aiming his spells if restraint doesn't deter his abilities...

But some fool may be more like to take pity on him and release him if we go that far.

I agree with Pond Fiend, it's too delicate a play. He's too much of an unknown to keep him disoriented but passive long enough.

So, bad news: Illusions don't work on the mist.

[ figures, considering what Thistle had relayed about the ram demon lair and barn powers. ]

Charon had a couple of other suggestions, though. Either we toss him at Red if we see him at night, or throw him straight into the mist. If we throw him straight in, we don't have to wait, and it's unlikely that anyone would rescue him. But throwing him at Red could be funnier.

I do like funny, but I'm mostly concerned with getting him out of our hair, like, as fast as possible. I wanna do things other than make sure a mysterious pyromaniac stays safely unconscious!

So throw him in the mist, I guess? What's even in there, anyway?

If we want him out of our hair ASAP, I'd suggest throwing him telekinetically. That way we won't run into any distracting encounters on the way.
