Blossom hasn't been anything than a step away from a nervous breakdown at best this whole time. And, personally, I think she did a hop, skip, and a jump in the last couple days with Lily "accidentally" murdering 90% of her impulse control.

So I can see her being not pleased but also handing it over without a fuss.
