She flips through the notebook enough to get an idea of what's in it, face brightening]
This is great...! Thank you.
[Then she looks at the flashbang]
What's this...?

There's some stuff in speedwriting but handwave there's an explanation slotted in there to read those parts]
It's a flashbang with honeysuckle in it. Pull that ring there, drop it, and look away - it'll briefly blind someone and mess with their hearing. The honeysuckle in it will drain someone of their powers temporarily - doesn't affect the magic we get here, though.
Something to use if Minuet's brother tries to come after you.

You can weaponize it like that? That's incredibly useful...

You can even put it into bullets, which I can help you do when you get your derringer. Think Styx came up with that, but Minuet would know who did for sure.

[said in the tone of: there's definitely a list already]
..."Styx" should go on there too. Some other people mentioned him... And Minuet said Wolfwood was here, so I assume that's him, and he's not anymore.

He's still here, just asleep. There's a couple of people here like that - but I'll leave that explanation to Minuet, too.

[that checks out well enough even if she can't imagine the reasons why]
Well, thank you, either way. I can't imagine there's any more efficient way to disable... Minuet's brother.
[realizing she still does not know what name he goes by here]

[he tilts his head] Are you going to tell the others?

I don't think anyone will, outside of stepping in to protect you if he tries something.

I'll make sure they're all informed.

Okay. Maybe once you settle in, you can help me out with my honeysuckle experiments.
