it's a really beautiful day, actually. sunny and deeply pleasant weather. maybe sometime today people might return from a snadventure (snake adventure), or maybe not? the wildlife and your lil resident sheep are all perky and up and at 'em and full of energy. hopping.

[ He doesn't interrupt while Rubato speaks, simply falling into step beside him. He's quieter than he would be, even as someone who usually doesn't say much unless he has to make a point.

So when the warning comes, he pauses in his walk to check around, before continuing once he ensures his path is clear. ]

I hunted a Pygmydillo an hour into my arrival to this world with Tart. They are quite formidable.

[ It had been late, and Rubato only found him the next day... ]

That was when all those stores had been damaged.

Ohlàlà! I didn't realize! Hunting larger game is a rather abrupt introduction to this lifestyle, isn't it?

I wasn't alone. For all his lack of courtesy, that prince of potatoes has been rather helpful. I suppose he truly has found something worth to keep going on for here compared to home.

[ Smiling a bit to himself at that. ]

You know better than anyone that I'm more capable than I look as well, don't you?

Mm, though there is Savanaclaw too [despite everything].

Mais oui, it isn't an issue of your capability, but rather that the matter-of-fact way of beastmen when it comes to the hunt can belie the communion that is involved... It is good if you haven't been put off?

[ There is Savanclaw, but he is noticeably more active here. That's something in Vil's notice, though. ]

[ It wasn't troublesome- Tart was pretty on point with what he wanted and how he wanted Vil's help. He's also good at following direction and defending himself. ]

I didn't notice much of a difference in how he usually behaves with me. I let him lead because I'd just arrived, but we managed to take one down pretty well. Biscuit had been quite upset at the loss of stores too, so it was rather sweet of him to go out and try and restock right away.

[ He chuckles after. ]

That was quite the surprise for me, though. It was hard to believe this was the same Tart I'd just dealt with back home. Even if it made sense why, later...

[ He pauses to look around, though, holding his hair back as a breeze crosses them, looking thoughtful before seeming to change the subject. ]

This is a nice area. Maybe I should do a photo shoot here sometime.

And if you would like to do a shoot, I have a film camera that we might use! The landscapes one can find here are bursting with natural charm! The tree on this hill especially both overlooks lush greenery below and sits under such wide skies! One can often see rainbows here, if you come at just the right time in the morning!

[ That does seem to pique his interest. Especially the mention of rainbows and he can probably see the gears turning in his head at the thought. ]


I might take you up on that. There has been something I've been working on here, though I wouldn't want to waste your film if it's limited- but it could be of use. It would certainly match a certain aesthetic I'm thinking of if we used one for a shoot here, though.

You'll have to be a part of it, though. Do you have a tripod? We'll improvise if you don't.

I admit I usually rely on the steadiness of my own hands when I take pictures as I am not often the subject. What would I be doing?

I can't very well have you using your hands when I want you in the picture with me.

Hence the need for a tripod. I want individual shots with you, then I'll have Apple model some time after- then all three of us. We'd be brilliant against this backdrop.
