Many people're too scared of bein' judged to put themselves out there to start with, let alone anythin' about acceptin' or overcomin'.

...It ain't that I'm makin' light of what it takes to really confront yerself. S'just lame that losin' control of my power was as simple as losin' track of how scared I was of it.

Besides, I'm a product of my situation. Bein' hated by the whole world ain't somethin' most people are ever gonna have to deal with, let alone for their whole lives.
