The weather is mild and pleasant, and the flowers are blooming especially vividly now. It's like it's spring or some shit.

Also, the lightning that was striking near the mist has subsided! Still be careful though--the eye is still close, but the antlers are still glowing Red for danger. Man wonder what could have set that off. Mystery.

Well anyway Red's back in his shop, along with Daisy and Coco, and Naythan's stumbling around with his Peony Suit. You might find Stormy around if you look for him, but Blossom is notably Still Absent.

BUT HEY NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THAT. There are some new additions!

-A new building appears near the lighthouse! Golly!

-There's a rumbling near Lily, and suddenly a small man-made 'lake' appears in their meadow?? Gosh Lily why do you get TWO ponds! Well, this one is full of salt water, so that's a thing. Maybe there's an underground stream?? Don't worry about it. They'll also find that they now have a dark, spooky, basement--well, part of it is, but mostly it looks like a bachelor pad. But hey, no windows! That's what's important.

Being watched doesn't count as teaching in this or the last century.

I thought that's how most trade jobs go? Steal the technique from the master and all that.

"Steal"? That's an odd way to look at it. And I'm not a carpenter, so I don't have any room to speak, but I do think some instruction is required.

The sheep were always the students learning from the masters, us, by watching.

Because you have a flawed understanding of how teaching and apprenticeship works. Also, what teaching someone how to be a 'person' works. And thinking of us as masters is arrogant, too.

Sorry that you were in a weird situation where your rise meant the downfall of those who taught you, but that's not how it works in most cases.

The sheep are learning by watching us, the same way a craftsman might learn from a master, whether or not we instruct them. This is not to say they're actually stealing information or skills from us.
