[WOW WHAT FUN LAST FEW DAYS FULL OF FEELINGS lets just forget about that for now!!

The weather is mild and pleasant, and the flowers are blooming especially vividly now. It's like it's spring or some shit.

Also, the lightning that was striking near the mist has subsided! Still be careful though--the eye is still close, but the antlers are still glowing Red for danger. Man wonder what could have set that off. Mystery.

Well anyway Red's back in his shop, along with Daisy and Coco, and Naythan's stumbling around with his Peony Suit. You might find Stormy around if you look for him, but Blossom is notably Still Absent.

BUT HEY NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THAT. There are some new additions!

-A new building appears near the lighthouse! Golly!

-There's a rumbling near Lily, and suddenly a small man-made 'lake' appears in their meadow?? Gosh Lily why do you get TWO ponds! Well, this one is full of salt water, so that's a thing. Maybe there's an underground stream?? Don't worry about it. They'll also find that they now have a dark, spooky, basement--well, part of it is, but mostly it looks like a bachelor pad. But hey, no windows! That's what's important.

Neato! How are the rest of you doing?? Look out for potential falling newbies, you know how it goes.]

[A scister maybe because they are easier to spot, and also, they're just rude birds.]

Alright. We shall have to be quiet.

[He has already gotten one. Another will not hurt. He lowers his voice when he finally spots one.]

Ah... there. Up ahead.

[He can see it perching in a tree.]

[ alastor nods. ] I'm not going to make a peep. [ he's moving through the shadows. ] Go ahead, Crescendo. I'm going to stand back here and, if you find you're needing help, then I'll step in. Otherwise, it's all you.

[They spoke a little about what was possible, and so he has an idea of what to do, or at least he thinks he does. Gathering energy in the form of sound, he tightly coils it all together, and then in a burst directed toward the bird, releases it in a pin-pointed wave. It strikes the bird hard and he watches as it falls to the ground, barely having managed to get a sound out from the sudden attack.]

It worked!

[It hadn't expected the invisible attack.]

[ alastor chuckles, giving crescendo a round of applause once the 'bird' hits the ground. ] Look at that~ congrats. Just be careful of the strength with which you put behind your 'attacks'. And if your emotions get the better of you, then you may accidentally trigger this... keep that in mind. But it looks like you've got it. Shall we find another?

Would you like to bring one of these home yourself? If I catch another, I will simply trade it or give it away, as Bluebell does pretty well when it comes to our meat stores.

[They have Mute and Rubato bringing home the majority of the meat, as well as Crescendo from time to time.]

...your new abilities are sound based. If you're prone to getting emotional and you do a lot of shouting then, if you're not careful, you could shout someone to death while arguing. You just need to keep that in mind. I'm sure that, with time, you'll get used to it, how you keep them in check, but they're new so it's merely a warning.

Home? I'm a weed. I don't have a home. And I'm unfortunately not hungry right now [ he'd eat it raw. ] so you can take it.

[He will properly bag this second bird, then, though. Whatever more he gets, he will trade for other items.]

I'm not interested in calling that 'thing' a home. I'll chit chat with the other weeds from time to time, but we're mostly nothing alike, and I see no reason to bother with them right now. [ perhaps if he can find a way to use them, then maybe... ]

I sometimes spend the night at Clover.

Somehow that does not surprise me.

[Clover allows either dangerous or unpleasant weeds into their presence all the time.]

And what is that supposed to mean? [ he crowds his space. ] Zenith is a reasonable fellow.

I do not find him particularly reasonable. And neither do I trust his judgment.

[Says the person who just!! made a deal!! with a demon!!]

Or rather, he has an incredibly annoying weed that hangs off him and tends to manipulate and use others. I find her unpleasant and their infatuation with her ridiculous.

But, what I meant in general, is that they are not as opposed to weeds as others I have found.

I'm afraid he's a friend of mine, so mind your tongue. We might all end up working together. [ as you're both under contract, so to speak. ] But you'll be happy to know I have no plans to drag 'her' into things. She seems to have a fascination with the snake, who is a foolish child.

I shall not apologize for my opinion, but I have no desire to go picking fights. Neither do I have anything personally against him.

[He has just chosen poorly regarding a particular girl. He doesn't trust him. That doesn't mean he hates him. So long as he treats his cousin well.]

Working together, though? It seems that without even naming her, you know who I mean, however. I did believe at first that all the weeds were mindless minions of that childish snake after the first impression she gave. It was refreshing to discover that is not really the case.

Good, because I won't tolerate in-fighting. As long as the two of you can work together [ to help him. ] then that's all I ask.

I don't mean hearing what he has to say and listening to him run his mouth about how much he hates this one and that one, but he, like the others, are childish and don't really seem like they know which end is up.

Mm. There are a few weeds I don't mind, but overall I'm not impressed. [ but, then again, the 'sheep' of the pasture aren't very impressive either. ]

Blossom is incompetent and also embarrassing, so... yeah.

It's a wonder anything ever gets done around here.

The only reason anything gets done is that we kidnapees never cease looking for answers.

And what have you found..? It seems like there are dozens of questions and only a small handful of helpful answers.

Not as much as I would like. I am sure you have looked into the little book at the clinic, though?

Anything discovered has been done so through hard work and some painful experiences though.
