[WOW WHAT FUN LAST FEW DAYS FULL OF FEELINGS lets just forget about that for now!!

The weather is mild and pleasant, and the flowers are blooming especially vividly now. It's like it's spring or some shit.

Also, the lightning that was striking near the mist has subsided! Still be careful though--the eye is still close, but the antlers are still glowing Red for danger. Man wonder what could have set that off. Mystery.

Well anyway Red's back in his shop, along with Daisy and Coco, and Naythan's stumbling around with his Peony Suit. You might find Stormy around if you look for him, but Blossom is notably Still Absent.

BUT HEY NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THAT. There are some new additions!

-A new building appears near the lighthouse! Golly!

-There's a rumbling near Lily, and suddenly a small man-made 'lake' appears in their meadow?? Gosh Lily why do you get TWO ponds! Well, this one is full of salt water, so that's a thing. Maybe there's an underground stream?? Don't worry about it. They'll also find that they now have a dark, spooky, basement--well, part of it is, but mostly it looks like a bachelor pad. But hey, no windows! That's what's important.

Neato! How are the rest of you doing?? Look out for potential falling newbies, you know how it goes.]

I've met a few jerks. They tried to get me kicked out of school, end the world, and kill me and people I care about, to name a few things. But I'm willing to believe you aren't all like that.

[ quiet a long minute as he listens to that. ]

I believe you. But you kinda look like you're going to keel over before you can find anything. Do you have some blood, I don't know, stored in your fridge somewhere for situations like this?

Haha... nothing like that! I suppose that Lily was letting me use their refrigerator in their original communal kitchen.

[Outside the barn]

But I don't have anything stored in there. Honestly, I wasn't here long enough to get anything like that going.

Anyway, even if I did, it would totally be expired by now. Gross...

[ never actually thought about blood expiring but. yeah that is gross.

kind of is quiet for a long moment and then. sighs. ]

Okay. The thing is, I like keeping my blood inside my body, where it belongs. But I also don't like watching anyone suffer.

[ and girl u look like a WRECK ]

So consider this your one-time-only offer for a bite, or whatever.

My fangs are poisonous to humans. I can tell you aren't fully human, but... I am a little worried, too. I'm not sure that you would like the results if you're human enough for them to alter you around a bit.

[One of her nails elongates, becoming sharp and pointed like a dagger.]

Would a cut on the palm work instead of fangs? I can heal you up nice and neatly after.

[ speaking of,,,, limbus,,,, anyway looks at her nail for a minute, then holds out his hand, palm up ]

[Taking his hand she smiles up at him, despite the way the monster inside just wants to tear into his palm for the blood already.]

[Since it might be difficult to watch himself get pierced. Careful, she runs her nail quickly across his palm. The moment the scent of his blood floods the air she can feel her fangs lengthen, the color of her eyes a deep crimson, glowing as she leans down, not wasting a moment. Hungrily she draws from his palm, pulling on the open wound as the delicious taste blossoms on her tongue. The sharpened nail has disappeared, but her grip is tight upon his wrist as she feeds, flushed as she drinks heavily. After starving in the mist for weeks, it would be so easy to lose herself in the taste of his blood.

She isn't seeking to devour his feelings or memories, but anything occupying his mind or fluttering near the surface could be open to her if not careful.]

[ he doesn't close his eyes.

watches with a neutral expression instead, inevitably wincing at the cut and when she starts drinking. he'd given her his left hand; his right drops to his side, hovers near his pocket. in case she can't stop herself...well, he's not totally unprepared.

probably bleeds through: knife-sharp wariness mingled with genuine empathy. the balance between wanting to believe her, and wanting not to be caught off-guard by betrayal. the memory of searing pain at his throat and arm coupled with the certainty of impending death.

does not, in fact, take his eyes off her as she drinks ]

[ . . . Ah. He has been through his fair share of unpleasant experiences in his young life, huh. Even though it is difficult to pull away, she does so. She really doesn't want to drain him to the point that it would be difficult for him to walk. Anemia affects everyone differently after all.

She pulls away, tongue licking her lips, fingers catching any stray blood that may have spilled.

She doesn't want to waste a drop. She draws a deep breath, her eyes hazy, cheeks flushed from the ripe fullness of having consumed blood.]

[ he relaxes as she pulls away, and takes his hand back. is it weird to watch her swallow every drop she can get? yeah. is it good to see her look less sickly? also yeah. and, you know, nice that she isn't wasteful with his blood. by contrast, he doesn't make any immediate moves to heal himself — there's a thing he can probably take the opportunity to do, and now's as good as time as any — but does kind of pull his hand back towards his chest and curl the palm a little to be less of an obvious open wound. ]

[At least it has curbed the pain some.]

Apparently, a demi-god tastes pretty delicious! Hold tight to your blood, Cepheus-kun.

[She's teasing. Not about the fact that he tastes good though.]

I was in a good deal of discomfort there, so this helped a lot.

It sounds as though you've been through quite a bit despite being so young. I'm sorry you've had to contend with that.

[It's genuine. People ought to be able to live peacefully. She cannot help but wonder all over again why it is that no matter the world, peace is so difficult to obtain.]

I do feel a lot better, though. I wouldn't die without blood- I would continue to linger and linger and linger. But, the sensation of starving, and your entire body feeling consumed by the need to correct that and nourish itself is incredibly painful. It isn't a pleasant feeling. So... you really helped me out.

Ugh, that sounds really awful. I think you won't have a hard time getting help around here, but if...I won't say any time you need more, but sometimes. I might be able to help again.

[ he says after folding approximately three minutes into their acquaintance ]

Yeah, no, I don't think anyone would believe either of those things. It's usually impulsive, or there's a fine line between brave and stupid. Which is where I live, probably.

Yeah, we're all pretty impulsive. [ it's the ADHD!! ] I guess you don't get very far with quests if you're super cautious.
