The weather is mild and pleasant, and the flowers are blooming especially vividly now. It's like it's spring or some shit.

Also, the lightning that was striking near the mist has subsided! Still be careful though--the eye is still close, but the antlers are still glowing Red for danger. Man wonder what could have set that off. Mystery.

Well anyway Red's back in his shop, along with Daisy and Coco, and Naythan's stumbling around with his Peony Suit. You might find Stormy around if you look for him, but Blossom is notably Still Absent.

BUT HEY NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THAT. There are some new additions!

-A new building appears near the lighthouse! Golly!

-There's a rumbling near Lily, and suddenly a small man-made 'lake' appears in their meadow?? Gosh Lily why do you get TWO ponds! Well, this one is full of salt water, so that's a thing. Maybe there's an underground stream?? Don't worry about it. They'll also find that they now have a dark, spooky, basement--well, part of it is, but mostly it looks like a bachelor pad. But hey, no windows! That's what's important.

Neato! How are the rest of you doing?? Look out for potential falling newbies, you know how it goes.]

And, here is the opening to the forest! You don't want to go in there. Not unless you're ready to fight off wild animals and monsters. Even if you are, you'll probably want some partner to go with. --Unless you're really confident, or really crazy brave.

It's also the main source of meat, other than fish. It's better to just wait for one of the sheep to go hunting and then get them to give you some.

And beyond it, is the mist! Consider it the part of the map where people used to write "there be dragons here." That is, if you go out alone, you will definitely meet monsters, and you definitely be killed. --And, that won't be fun.

And here's the lake! Which is a lake. Fish live there.

There's one thing you should know. A weed can go out into the mist and still see the surroundings. A sheep, belled-collar, will not be able to see anything... unless they're actively touching you.

Just keep in mind: if the animal looks cute, it can kill you. If the animal looks dangerous, it can kill you.

Hey, remember how I said I've been here a long time? I've also been alive for-- most-- of that time. That's a lot more than some can say.

Anyway... coming up to your left and right, you'll see the 'barns' that the various flocks live in. They all have fruit trees growing outside them. Unfortunately, a lot of them also have built defenses outside of them, preventing hungry people from taking the fruit.

I live a life where I congratulate myself every five minutes after I've stayed alive. "Good job!"

Over there is the clinic. You can go there if you're sick. There's also a communal book in there that has all of the information we've been able to puzzle out about this world. Because... it's not like the locals tell us much. Or we can trust them not to lie to our face when we ask.

Well... a few barns have baths too, and you can bargain to use them.

[continuing into the town] And inside here are where the locals hang out, and a bunch of random buildings! The cafeteria will have food, but only things like grass smoothies and salads. --So it's not very palatable.

The weeds clubhouse doesn't have a kitchen, by the way.

But, anyway... the natives will trade you stuff. There's Daisy, the cow, who will trade dairy-based items. There's Red, the sheep, who will trade for whatever you like. Then, there's the best native of them all...

Yes.

The snake is the reason we're all here, instead of... not existing. He's a great guy. He gives us all the freedom in the world and asks for very little in return. You can ask him for things, and all you have to do is cause a little chaos in the pasture.

He's a great Boss.

Just be prepared if he calls you 'minion'. He means it in a positive way!
