[All across the pasture, sometime in the late morning (to give people a chance to catch up on some rest), everyone will see a freckled blond avatar wearing a blue wide-brimmed fedora pop up next to them--or if you happen to be near Rubato at the time, you'll see him speaking to a whole audience of little avatars representing each resident of the pasture. It seems he has no trouble picturing each face he'd like to contact all at once.]

How has everyone been faring? It seems we have had relatively good success at keeping each flock fed and comfortable this first week, but there is still more work to do ahead, non? Are there areas where you might wish to have more assistance? Strengths you are willing to trade? There's no reason to be shy if such a need is found!

Let us come together for another exchange! There shall be a bonfire by the Cafétéria today--all are welcome to bring some of their own food and supplies and join us in preparing our meals there. Consider it a chance to make more from a little less!

Those who make their way to the Cafeteria today will find a cheerful fire going in a fire pit that has been dug not far away, to supplement the lack of stoves in the kitchen. There are a couple birds roasting over the fire already, as well as various root vegetables being arranged on skewers to go next.]

You saw Crescendo using Bluebell's magnet power to follow the fox, correct?

I'm afraid I didn't catch it in person--though you described it as a catapult and that did match the tracks he left.

... What kind of state was he in when you found him?

[ DID HE NEED ANY HEALING, ROOK. ]

For data purposes. The catapult landing would have inevitably hurt, so his state would give a better indicator of time during that encounter, since we don't have clocks.

Ah, I forget that not everyone has a strong sense of time...

[He can give a very accurate estimate of how much time passed between when he found Crescendo's trail and when Blood Fiend was kicked out of the fog though, within a five minute margin.]

[ askfkgkh THAT'S NOT WHAT HE WAS ASKING (except it was kind of, he hates this). tail flicks in very slight annoyance, but it's brief. ]

Of course not. It would hardly be productive, for either of us. Even the most reckless fools learn from direct experiences.

I came upon him after his first attempt into the fog and he was beside himself that you had gone in after him and were still trapped inside--and so we attempted to retrace his footsteps to catch up to you, only to be turned around and deposited in the meadow again.

[ his pupils dilate a little, but otherwise there's no adverse reaction. like it or not, he did expect this. ]

Teleportation, huh? Good to know.

Well, I can tell you what's out there isn't edible, so you guys can forget about hunting in the mist.

Non, I can't say it was teleportation for certain, the wolf-like presence in the fog overwhelmed our senses and we fell unconscious. I simply happen to be able to tell I wasn't unconscious long.

And the same thing happened to Crescendo, both times — with no harm coming to either of you?

There was a dreadful, oppressive sense that one could die, but no injury was sustained by either of us, non.
