[ With Bluebell's lovely morning rite, it's shaping up to be quite the peaceful day. The spring thaw continues, bringing young lilywogs with lingering stubby tails to the shores. It's easy to spot them floating among the reeds, though they're still prone to scattering if disturbed.

And across the pasture everyone is hopefully having a peaceful day, right? Or have some of you been getting up to shenanigans instead? ]

Geez, uh . . . a lot of things.

It wasn't in a body of water but I got chased by a giant alligator in the sewers once. There were piranhas down south when I got sent there . . .

Last place, I'm . . . not sure exactly what it was, but it was huge. Del Lago, could've eaten me and my boat in one bite.

What are you doing that it's so common?

I investigate and handle threats of bio-terrorism - zombies. People try to make them stronger, so they'll test it on all sorts of things.

Bio-terrorism...That's awful. Why would anyone do that?

For the same reason most people do bad things - power and money.

I don't understand why that's worth other people's lives.

I've never understood it, either.

But like I said, it isn't common. There's a lot of people who work hard to make sure that those shitty people don't succeed.
