[ With Bluebell's lovely morning rite, it's shaping up to be quite the peaceful day. The spring thaw continues, bringing young lilywogs with lingering stubby tails to the shores. It's easy to spot them floating among the reeds, though they're still prone to scattering if disturbed.

And across the pasture everyone is hopefully having a peaceful day, right? Or have some of you been getting up to shenanigans instead? ]

I'm trying to look at the bright side of the situation, but lycanthropy is a lot.

We're going to need to collect more wolfsbane immediately, especially if more people than you were bitten.

But I can go out - I'm the one who'll have to use it, I may as well replace it.

There are, I believe, two plants left in the clinic, which is enough for now.

You cannot and should not go alone. Weeds aside, I was talking to miss Azdaja the other day -- she is able to move quite faster than a human, and likely hunt wolfsbane by smell if the mist is not intefering with her senses. If we can gather any kind of surplus without further bites, we can finally try cultivating them within the pasture.

And...there are other pressing reasons to go deep in the misted forest. Though I don't know if we strictly need to go as deep as the hostage sites to find more plants, there is ample reason to revisit at least two of those.

If we're trying to avoid more bites, then wouldn't it make sense to send someone already infected?

[oof, saying it like that makes him wince a little]

I wouldn't go on my own, but I wouldn't bring a big group of people, either . . . and a big group would be better for exploring those sites.

I don't think we need a big one for the mansion, especially since the point of interest is outside it. The smaller and faster a group could be there the better, actually...

But the wolfsbane is a bigger priority; it need not be sought there if it's not certain it would be there.

Mmm . . . getting some while exploring the other places isn't a bad idea. But yeah - even if Muffin and I weren't infected, it still needs to be done.

[he sighs, rubbing at his face] I'll organize something. Either - today, after I talk to Daisy or once I'm - not infected. I promise I won't run out there by myself.
