[ With Bluebell's lovely morning rite, it's shaping up to be quite the peaceful day. The spring thaw continues, bringing young lilywogs with lingering stubby tails to the shores. It's easy to spot them floating among the reeds, though they're still prone to scattering if disturbed.

And across the pasture everyone is hopefully having a peaceful day, right? Or have some of you been getting up to shenanigans instead? ]

[here they are - he'll grab the door for Muffin and hold it open with the good arm]

Makes me jealous sometimes, but we get by okay with muscle.

Me too, but it's not so bad. Good work out.

[chirps again and finds a seat on one of the patient benches]

[goin' to raid the supplies, grabbing whatever he can to clean them both up]

[starts on unwrapping the bandage he put on earlier. nice double row of teeth marks. yikes. yuck.]

[big yikes, big yuck. He winces a little in sympathy and drags a chair over to sit down himself]

Got you good, huh.

[pokes gingerly at one of the tooth holes]

Was big mouth.

Never seen a shark that close before.

[okay let's clean these up. He's being very gentle about it]

Me neither.

[pips quietly. not really sounds of pain, but something to focus on instead, like how someone might hum anxiously]

At least the singing was . . . nice? I guess?

[all clean, grabbing some bandages to re-wrap it, now]

I liked the singing. Zenith and Fantasia really got into it. And yours was funny.

They did, it was cute. Wonder how they know that song, though . . .

Thanks. Haven’t gotten to sing with others in while, so was fun even if unplanned.

You've never sang with the Clover girls? One of them is an - idol? I think?

[shakes his head]

Have only sang with Belle, and one time Daffodil sang for Coco. Sometimes Tart listens when I’m practicing.

Tart does, huh. [he smiles a little] Bet he likes it.

Bet the girls would love to hear you sing, though.

Wouldn’t listen if he didn’t.

Wouldn’t mind singing for them either, but you’ve heard my singing. Isn’t idol music.

Yeah, but it's music. Just because it isn't the kind they sing, doesn't mean they won't enjoy it.

Maybe will ask. Crescendo sings too. Would be nicest to have group singing together.

That would be pretty nice. I'm gonna keep an ear out now.

[he finishes off the bandages and pats Muffin's knee] All done.

Will sing extra loud so you hear.
