[ With Bluebell's lovely morning rite, it's shaping up to be quite the peaceful day. The spring thaw continues, bringing young lilywogs with lingering stubby tails to the shores. It's easy to spot them floating among the reeds, though they're still prone to scattering if disturbed.

And across the pasture everyone is hopefully having a peaceful day, right? Or have some of you been getting up to shenanigans instead? ]

It's something of a nuisance, but I believe it's the result of time magic so I'm not sure if I should be doing anything to alter it just yet.

Isn't it odd? I don't even know. Some other members of our little party were de-aged to children. I hope it wears off for them before too long.

It is, yes. I believe Rose's priest was responsible. They have some connection to the Forever Snake, and I find that fascinating.

So! I want to go back and rescue them once our crew re-sorts themselves. And I want you to come with me.

Aside from being my brother, you're a weed who can breathe underwater. Who else is a better option to help us through the mist?

As for the Forever Snake... I couldn't say. The priest seemed to be calling for them. If we can rescue them and bring them back to the pasture they might be able to confirm the best method for getting the holy beast's attention again.

Hair actually tangles up so much easier once it's exposed to air. And all the strands stick together when it's wet. I don't understand why anyone would want to deal with it at this length.

Goodness, could you imagine Azul trying to deal with hair this long in his true form? Even if he didn't get completely tangled up it would surely be worse.

...Oh, how are you doing for potion? If you can get someone to help you (whether they'd also like a mer form or not) I got a spell from Ms. Daisy that'll make it so you don't have to rely on them anymore. I keep meaning to bring it up with you.

Yes! I can give you the words and the specifics, but you'll need to find someone you're alright swapping bodies with for a day. I did mine with Crescendo since he had already expressed interest in a mer form.

And if for whatever reason the other individual doesn't want that aspect of it then they don't have to say the spell and it will work one way.

I feared he would have gone back to Red for the next batch of merfolk potion when there are better options.

It's up to you, of course. Crescendo certainly seemed to enjoy the extra height for a day if you wanted to check with Ms. Daisy to see if he could perform the spell twice.

Tch. One of the few things I like 'bout Kittyfish is that he's 'bout the same height as Goldfish. Maybe he'd like bein' a little taller, huh? Eheheh.

Buuuuut... I dunno 'bout giving' him that kind of advantage...

Crescendo is several centimeters taller than Riddle, I believe, but at a certain height the difference doesn't seem all that great.

Well, give it some thought! The potions are always there to fall back on.
