Mingly

WHO: Sheep
WHERE:Where ever
WHEN: Evening 60 - Morning 61

[WHAT A DAY HUH? At least by evening the rain starts to let up, and it is noticeably not as cold as it has been. It's a good night for doing whatever, or maybe you're doing dream shit, I'm not your mom.

In the morning, some will notice that along with the storm, there are also no longer patches of snow fluffies, and any snow still on the ground is starting to melt. Additionally, little by little, more wildlife is popping back up in the meadow and forest. With the cold snap gone, it looks like the wildlife scarcity is disappearing, too.

In the cafeteria, there is a small breakfast waiting for those who care for it: coffee or hot cocoa, orange juice, plum tarts, and omelettes made with fish. There is also a banner:

HAPPY ACTUALLY TWO MONTHS IN THE PASTURE SORRY I CAN'T COUNT IGNORE THE OTHER ONE FROM LIKE A COUPLE WEEKS AGO

anyway how yall doing]

If he's here, ain't no one givin' him orders or a purpose right now anyway, right? So instead of tryin' to fix what you think is wrong, how 'bout you try to figure out what he wants to do?

. . . yes.

[ said in a difficult-to-interpret tone as they think once again about how asking him if he wanted cake would have been a much better opening move than offering murder-suicide ]

[look. sometimes you make a murder-suicide misstep. you just have to move forward]

Well, with that kinda guy it might not be easy. But that's what you want, right? For him to think for himself?

Sure. People are a pain in the ass, and it's natural to wish they'd just go along with what you know is right rather than havin' to deal with 'em as they are.

But that's how ya end up in this kinda situation.

He’s not a pain in the ass. He’s . . . the best person I ever knew.
