[GOOOOOD MORNING it's been a nice few days, and it's even starting to warm up slightly--oh, wait, never mind. Thick black clouds gather in the sky, and there's a rumbling thunder, with stray lightning bolts here and there. The rain alternates between freezing cold but sparse and just sheets of downpour.

Well if you're determined enough you can still go about your business! Though looking out your window you might catch Blossom running back and forth to SOMEWHERE and also....a tree suddenly in the middle of the pasture. Nothing notable about it for now though.

[ lands from the air after going up to check all traces of the big sky ram are gone. he didn't make it out of the Mongoose Zone completely unscathed, but all that's left of that now are memories and a couple tears to be mended in his clothes. ]

There are some wounded, and you likely saw the two that died. But more importantly...

[ he reaches out, intending to move Muffin's bangs so that he can see the petrified eye better. ]

[tips his face towards quetzal's hand, always seeking touch. the stone is warm from Daffodil's powers, but that part of his face is frozen nonetheless. the eye doesn't blink and there's no crinkle of expression.

We were being frozen. Went to Thistle, but nobody solved our room before we left.

[the stone eye is still fixed wide in confused alarm, but the other closes. still frightened and anxious, but trusting.]

[ The light of the Stona alternates green, and yellow. White magic, to coax what's been forced to stillness back to life, and eat away at curses.

Though Muffin can't see it...
The light gathers in the palm of his free hand... and he brings it to his own lips. It winks out, like a covered bulb.

he leans in, and kisses Muffin at the temple of his head, right beside the afflicted eye. The captured, focused-to-a-fine-point Stona pours into the spot. ]

[Muffin holds still, waiting blindly...

A chirp is the first sign of the Stona working— he felt that! The petrification lifts slowly enough to watch how stone softens away into warm skin and how the green returns to Muffin's frozen iris like dye, but it's still only a change of seconds. A testament to the spell's power...?

Muffin shuts his eye, then opens both of them, then blinks!]

[there’s shiny-new scars on Muffin’s hands if one knows where to look for them, and Quetzal does, but they’re healed. his face is healed! he’s whole and hale, and squinting his eyes playfully shut again as he laughs]
