That is true. I think we've crossed into the area of being targeted for our willingness to take the pain, anyway, if Zenith's remarks in the doctor's game were aught to go by. The paradigm has become intolerable, so in a way I suppose he's getting what he wanted.

[ Ananke doesn't believe Charon OR Lethe's expressions at all, but he's not about to call them out in the middle of a meeting with newbies around. Especially not when he's very obviously picking apart and managing his own emotions without bothering to hide any of it.

Shakes his head after a long, uncomfortable pause. ]

The only one that might come close for me is Thistle, and I think they'd be understanding if we have to choose them one day. Lupin's had to make hard choices before.

I thought the same. We can at least try to take care not to repeatedly, consecutively target the same teams, though it's hard to say if that will lead to more upset with more teams involved, or less upset since the chances are lower that we pressure a single one into destruction.

In the situation where we cannot make a decided play on one as a group -- too many factors, too many feelings -- will you allow me to choose?

I am not against a group vote, but there will be situations we don't have time for that, or the situation is otherwise precarious.
