...it ended up working in our favor, so it's not the worst thing that could have happened. If it comes down to it, we can at least force a tie.

[She has a hard time shutting her brain off, okay, especially with Ai there. And then that ends up staying up for several days on end. Thanks to being a shepherd.]

A tie is still better than nothing, I guess... but I'm worried that if we tie anything, someone's going to get stuck doing what Sonata was forced to do.

I'm not fond of leaving it up to fate either, but since the gods here seem to have a sense of humor... we might all need to come to terms with that.

Sonata didn't take it very well, but it's not like it was her fault.

It's not like it's easy to get used to making those sorts of decisions, especially for people who come from places where this stuff doesn't happen.

I wish we had a better idea on what to expect, honestly. It'd make it so much easier to plan.

It would make it easier, but even our gracious hosts seem intent on keeping us in the dark. They know way more than they're letting on. I don't believe that pink thing's dumb act for a second.
