Really not a problem. You're not the first one to injure me out of nowhere for one of those quests, and you won't be the last.

We keep small bottles and vials in one of the kitchen cabinets, and small pouches with padding to hold them. You may want to cry into a few of them sooner or later, and carry them on your person; we need the healing often, though we seem to be in an unusual lull right now.

I have taken enough damage in rituals since getting here that these smaller-scale things really just don't register, once the moment's passed. Maybe that's not healthy, but it's not as though I sought the harm out.

To be fair, a lot of the ritual punishment has been from refusal to cooperate. We might have to rethink our approach anyway; I am not sure Demeter, for one, is resilient enough to bear it.

She seems pretty gentle. If there are repercussions for not doing shit, then...

It's really quite variable. There have been some where we cannot avoid damage at all no matter what we do.

She will have to learn to bear it in some capacity; we all have. But I'm not in the practice of deliberately breaking down children.
