Daffodil Funeral... Party
WHO: Everyone!
WHERE: Red's Shop
WHEN: Day 46, night
WHAT: It's a funeral but also a party. But definitely a funeral.
You've probably heard but Red died earlier today. It was wack. Hecked up you might say.
Well, Daffodil takes their parties very seriously. And Cinnamon takes funerals very seriously. And there's no reason why it can't just be the same thing.
Either way. There's refreshments. Paper flowers and candles in a little makeshift shrine area, with Crois's drawing as the center piece, so you can pay your respects AND a bucket of water so you can reminisce about your favorite times with Red with those new memory coins.
Go ahead, tell your favorite stories about him. You... You all love Red right? Yeah you do.

Before the funeral kicks off...
If there's a particular weed that wants to help out she is more than welcome to. But anyone can assist. Cinna is very content to do this by himself as it was his idea and the norm back home. The arrangements for funerals and the rites that take place are his responsibility, after all.]

Hey there! I've arrived. As promised.
Or at least implied.

Thanks for that time you gave my hunting snares free upgrade. And also for all the crayons I've gotten for my sheep. I know we go through a lot of yellow ones.
no subject
Red gave you all those things...? I remember when we first met [6 days ago...] you spoke of coloring the sheep.

[COMEDY HOUR IF YOU DON'T RESPECT RED]
Re: [COMEDY HOUR IF YOU DON'T RESPECT RED]
"Is he moving?" asked one of 'em.
"That'd explain the suitcase," said the other.

Mmm... That wasn't a very good deal. I wonder if he's just not a very good negotiator and says whatever pops into his head.
Did you end up taking it?

Anyway... Witnesses The Memory.]
Oh what he asked you to do was quite... [It sure was something.] I do understand the dislike for him a bit better now.

[he's munching on some mango-flavored kitkats when he sees this set up]
[and immediately turns around to leave]
Target Spoted.
[He sees you. He saw you. This is his funeral or uh... party. And everyone gets greeted.]
Did you get a chance to pay your respects?
(no subject)
no subject
Hooh, is this a party or a funeral? Or both? What kind of a character was this Red to deserve such a reception?
[ very implied in the tone: what kind of characters are you to be celebrating it? ]
no subject
It's a funeral but... a funeral can be considered a celebration of the life lived. Red was a shop keep who got people what they needed.
[And that's all he can really say about his character.]

That seems... well, rather egregious.

[As if that explains everything.]
And we cannot be certain if Red will come back... I thought it best for those that might be grieved by his rather sudden and alarming passing.
[He glances at some of the other Daffodils having a comedy hour.]
The jokes were not my idea, however...
no subject
Which is more than I can expect from the majority of the pasture.
He will be missed.
no subject
hey daffodil did you feel like getting hit with a star piece. it probably just hit someone in the head and didn't break a window. maybe.]
