Been a minute since we had a new barn up!!

In that case, I shall decree a major part of the work to be helping with costume acquisition.

Hmm~ Only if we give all participating wizards the same amount of help getting costume components!

Or maybe we should make you all do it yourselves, to see what you can come up with...

It's starting to sound like we'll need a first rite to create the props and costumes for the second rite.

Proper showmanship really is a vicious cycle...

Do you think it's possible to generate outfits while also doing hotspring quest?

Well, "drama" is our usual rite.

I suppose if we work into the stories of what's calming, some examples of what we've spent time calming down from?

What kind of props would you need, besides an outfit? And what kind of prizes should we give to the winner? I was thinking cosmetics.

You need a dummy to break apart~. Maybe full of something red?

I need nothing, sans a costume. I can put together a marvelous showing with naught but my own two hands.

Should we save the cosmetics for New Face, then?

Alright. Is there a prize you'd prefer more? I suggested makeup but that's mostly just 'cause I don't know what things you guys might actually need.

--Oh, that's not completely true. New Face said he'd like some equipment for potion making. That might be something Leviathan might like, too.

Isn't it more fun to make them improvise a cool wizard costume, though? I mean, most of us were at that secrets party ritual, so most of us must have at least one nice outfit hanging around!

Secrets ritual?

I guess that one was before your time? It was a ritual where we were at a fancy party and had to guess whose secrets belonged to who. We all got free food and a party outfit out of it.

Yeah, that doesn't sound familiar at all. Though I'm curious what everyone's secrets were, haha.

In any case, New Face wouldn't have an outfit from that, either. So he'd either have to borrow one, or we'll still have to make one from scratch, I think.

I dunno, the clothes he showed up in were super fancy. He could use that!

I guess we'll have to see what he thinks about it. I thought Angel Devil normally looks pretty fancy, but he still wants to take it up a notch, so.

I have to admit, I try to downplay the living memory of that day...

And clothes JUST for a magical exhibition are a puzzle I've never tackled before... perhaps something based off of traditional red mage garb, adjusted to be in line with Rose's design sensibilities...

What does "traditional red mage garb" look like?

Red! Vividly. White-plumed hats with a rather jaunty brim. Capes are common, mantles less so but not unheard of, and often tall boots you can move around nimbly in, as another piece of the classical image puts them with a light sword like a foil or épée...

I would likely replace that part with... a conductor's baton worn and styled like a sword, maybe...
