Bonsoir, tout le monde--it has been quite some time since I have had the pleasure of calling everyone in the pasture! In fact, perhaps it is overdue! Those who have been here since the beginning may recall we had a get together once, where we introduced ourselves and shared fruit between flocks. How fortuitous then, that another such occasion can easily be arranged!

The host of our latest ritual has generously helped us to transform our signature fruits into dishes to gift as we please! It would be a shame not to experiment a bit, non? I think we get along and don't get along a normal amount. Some people are great to all species, some people are assholes even if they're same species.

There's also, um... kind of an anonymity? Nobody here knows things like who your family is or anything about gryphons. You're high class and I'm low class, but there's no reference for that for anyone to care.

Aha... I confess that has led to its own set of difficulties, but only for myself.

You see, I was so used to everyone else taking care of menial or difficult tasks at home, that I was entirely unprepared. My position meant that I did not need to know how to do laundry, or cook, or take care of household chores, or how to hunt.

It has meant that my arrival here has been an utter crash course in survival.

But... are worthwhile things to learn, right?

I have certainly become more independent, at the very least.

Is good to be able to take care of yourself and to know where food comes from. Isn't bad to get all that with money, but now can understand exactly what you're paying for.

Not always fun. But worthwhile, I suppose.
