Mm, it seems the cold has set in quite suddenly!

Our quails should be hardy enough against these temperatures and the length of days has not changed, but it would be good to keep an eye on whether or not they will continue to lay as many eggs.

Ah . . . do they normally not in winter . . . ?

Oui, they are migratory in fact, and so in the winter they would normally travel, even if they handle the cold well enough.

They have not complained of the cold yet! Fufu, but I had considered whether we should build them an indoor hutch--especially when the wildlife was becoming more aggressive because of the mists. If you would like to bring them in anyway, I don't see why not?
