Actually...
Perhaps it's a vague ask, but. Some accounting of what I missed would be lovely. There's something... a little wrong, in the air, since I got back. But I can't quite put my finger on it. Mayhaps I'm just still feeling out of sorts...

Ah.... well..... there was a cave full of gold statues, guarded by a demon. Thistle was able to take one of the statues away, and destroyed the cave and the demon.

After which point.... we were able to melt the statue, and discover that it was a former person, like us. His Shepherd had sacrificed him to push back the mist. He turned into a sheep.... like the mindless ones around here.

[ so, uh, yikes ]

As a result of these actions, the mist is encroaching on the forest. The creatures there are more aggressive and hostile, as well. So please be careful.

Ah, and the eye is open.

Well, Blossom did as good as tell me they're all sleeping souls... according to her, it won't help to tell us more about their identities to try using that to coax them out, supposedly. But maybe she's just afraid of us bringing life back out TOO fast, now that it's started happening in ways she can't entirely micromanage...
