But moving warms you up, which makes it easier to move. So it works out if you keep at it.

I've been in waaaaaay colder lakes. Those were in dungeons, though. I don't go swimming to much on my own.

Arrested? --Oh, no, not that kind of dungeon. A "dungeon" on my world is like a...portal to a pocket dimension filled with monsters. If we don't defeat all of the monsters inside, they'll spill out into our world and kill people.

So, does that mean monsters aren't native to your lands? They come from this 'pocket dimension'?

Yeah, basically. We just have normal animals--I guess the dungeon monsters are probably considered normal to someone, somewhere, but they're not from my world. The dungeons started appearing about three years ago and it's been like that ever since.
