Fafnir is kiiind of a villain. He killed a guy out of greed. . . but the name is cool, so I threw it out there.

Tiamat is considered a creator goddess, of sorts. She gave birth to various types of monsters with her husband, and is associated with the chaotic and destructive nature of the sea. Her husband was killed by younger gods, and she amassed an army of monsters to avenge them, only to be killed herself.

Hm. Maybe I should think of some other names.
