Blossom doesn't seem like the type to kick us all out into the mist, does she? As for why Red humors us, I have no idea. But he definitely gets something out of these sick bargains.

If that was true, why give anything in return? He either benefits in some way or has some kind of ulterior motive.

To make people come back, of course. A manipulator like that must keep some sort of benefit for those they manipulate. What is a cat without a mouse to bat around, after all.

But I do agree that he has some sort of ulterior motive, in the very least.

I'm not so sure. When Clover had to speak secrets into a bottle and then fill the bottle with fountain water, he drank it when I returned it to him.

Biscuit had a theory about the demons potentially feeding off of our emotions, and I wonder if it might be something similar with him.

I'm not familiar with demons, to be honest, but... that seems frightfully plausible considering how emotional we're forced to be.

Neither am I, but it does make a lot of sense. Perhaps Red has some kind of pact with the demons that allows him to do the same.
