at least one doesn't come out.

[ He lets go of Blood Fiend only once they near the edge of the mist, even with the bird's warning. ]

I'm unfortunately an expert at dealing with this nonsense by now. Honestly, he almost deserves to turn into a wolf for this mess. [ Internal eyeroll. ]

[ he's not answering until they cross back into the pasture. hello, sunlight. out here, his wounded tail is pretty obvious. waves it. ]

[ i guess it's like, noon now. no danger of wolf thoughts for at least a few hours. ]

[ his ki sense can't distinguish between HP and MP. all he knows is that Zenith's ki tanked as he dropped down back there. ]

[ He eyes Blood Fiend's tail. ] I'm not sure. It felt like it was draining my magic, like that flower... so I fell. [ He's a little banged up from the fall, but otherwise fine. ]

We need to get you wolfsbane tea as soon as possible.

[ just magic, huh. files that away. nods ]

I have my flower from yesterday. Is there any special brewing method I need to know about?

[ thanks to his passive healing, the wound is starting to close, but it's slow. it's not flock healing. ]

You'll need to brew it for a very long time, and a very specific method or it'll just kill you.

[yeah the birds are just going to drop a cynical good luck in Zenith's ear and then leave at this point. they didn't extract shit from the Wolf King directly so they don't owe anyone anything. this was absolutely not worth losing ten of their number and their backup measure for. sigh!]
