it's a newwww dayyyy.
WHO: you! and you! and others too!
WHERE: everywhere all over
WHEN: Day 25, mid-day
[ Well! It's been an eventful day for some so far. Between trips into the mist and innocent handshakes for kitchens, what else could possibly go wrong today?
who knows but the day is still young. so what're y'all doin' today. ]

One, since yesterday, after consulting with Muffin, he's created with his magic... a temporary rock spire, meant to resemble a mountain path. He's currently hovering in the air beside it, giving the spire a critical eye for what he could add.
It'll break apart by the end of the day, but... it'll definitely last long enough to show Pondie. But presentation is everything with this sort of thing...
He floats down beside you, eyes still on the spire. ]
What do you think? Does it feel... mountain? Maybe more green bits...
*
[ Two, after he's done with the whole... mountain spire endeavor, he's out back of Rose barn, building...
A scarecrow?
A scarecrow that he seems to be doing weird magical bullshit to, occasionally. There's glowing and chants. ]

A little overstuffed... it'll have trouble moving, like that...

Making yourself a friend?

...ach, it's listing. [ wiggles the post that it's hanging on.. to try and get it more settled in the earth. He's not very successful with this, but he gets it to a point of good enough for now.
Once he's done-- he still doesn't look up. The system is working. ]
--though it could truly be anyone's friend, if they're just hapless enough.

Moss would be a start. Might be some worth harvesting near the outskirts of the woods...

Mountains have snow! You need a snow-capped top.
no subject
...Hm.
I never mastered snow. You know each and every snowflake has a unique structure? It's a nightmare to replicate. But maybe if I...
....make the ice and... grate it, perhaps...? Mm. Pond Fiend would notice if I so ill used ours.
no subject
[he has only learned what snow is recently he's never seen it]
How's it have a unique structure? I thought it was just all white blobs.
every day is a good day to look at Snowflake Bentley photos
[ that means he doesn't know why. Terran civilization never reached the atomic level.
wiggles his fingers. He may not be able to make snow, but he can make a big ice crystal following a shape a snowflake might take. It's about.. the size of one's head.
...after a few seconds, he re-shapes it, then again, and again-- going through a startling variety of forms.
Eventually, though, he runs out of ones he's done before, and sends it floating off out of his way. It's already starting to drip. ]
this day literally just started in my timezone and is already looking great
[staring in awe at the changing patterns, and also, assuming this is the normal size of a snowflake]
This isn't at all what the pictures looked like! They're pretty!

[ first thing's first. time to raise one last new platform, to be mouth of the waterfall. Angie takes off to go hang in the air above the whole structure, so he can get the placement jusssst right it won't touch the 'mountain' so much as to make it dangerously slick. ]

Perfect! Right there!

And they have their perfectly placed platform! With a hollow, in the middle, for some standing water, and a spot like a very broad spout at the side. ]

It's even more mountain-y now!

It's a bit surreal.
He's almost positive that none of the mushrooms he brought back the day before had hallucinogenic properties, so he's going to lean toward the art idea.]

There's so much going on here, and if anything else retroactively becomes true about this spire I will let you know about it posthaste. But for now. "This." Is.
- primarily, a rocky spire, leading to a flat platform at the top, high enough to have... a decent enough view.
- the 'snowy mountaintop,' which is the flat platform except it has a bunch of ice crystals floating all around it.
- A misty waterfall, coming from a floating platform holding a pond covered in bubbles.
- A stand of small pine trees, obscuring all at the base of the spire but the mouth of the rocky path.
- A rather prodigiously large puddle and or small marsh, in the nearby grass. Probably this is a byproduct of the waterfall.
- Edible and nonedible mushrooms, nestled in cute little clumps of their own growth mediums all along the 'mountain path.'
- artfully placed clumps of mosses. Some rotten log bits.
- various color of sheep wandering around on it. One is chewing on some moss. ]
--Ahah! Just the fellow I wanted to see. Ahem.
Pond Fiend! I have magnanimously created for you a facsimile of a mountain. However, it shall be gone upon the morrow, so one must endeavor to enjoy it to its utmost today.
So~~~~...
What do you think☆?
no subject
[That's sure a semi-abstract artistic representation of a mountain. Pond Fiend can only stare.]
I'm not sure I understand. You made this for me?
no subject
It's to climb. You... like mountain climbing, yes?
An entire one isn't exactly in the cards, on short notice. But we-- my consultants and I discussed at length, what traits were a necessity to the experience.
[ it is beginning to make sense, perhaps, how angel devil has managed to teach himself to be a person in such a weird way.
he floats over beside a few traits, as he points them out-- ]
Rocky, uneven terrain! This is just obvious. Otherwise you're not climbing, you're walking.
Elevation! I took into account, of course, your dislike of open air; there are places of rough footing, but no true gaps, until you reach the top.
A spiraling path! Ascent of a peak is characterized by a meandering route that works with the grain of the terrain, not against, yes? Even I know that, and I hardly enjoy to be acquainted with the things, myself.
