[ he couldn't stay on the roof all night, and sleeping out in the open is the last thing he's going to willingly do. but... before he could sleep...
Angel Devil headed to the fountain, in the dead of night, amid the sounds of thunder.
Blowing on cold fingers clasped around a red coin, he hoped for nothing, before tossing it in.
...
Shown in the water was a small, delicate crystal, gently spinning in the air amid two large, rings. He watched himself raise a shaking hand to it, hesitate, pull away--
and react in surprise, as if to an unseen voice over his shoulder.
... The fountain faded back to blank water, interrupted now only by occasional raindrops. ]
[ after Shadow Fiend and Azdaja do their thing. assuming he's gonna eat a bit here first ]
If you're still hungry later and don't feel like cooking yourself, Biscuit was planning on a stress dinner over at Daffodil. You're welcome to go over, I already asked.
[ spottable: Blood Fiend escaping out of his bedroom window first thing, heading over to Daisy's parlour, then heading back. instead of going back to his room, he settles down on the roof beside Yama-Angie. he still looks like shit, but at least he's not covered in blood. and he did get a good night's sleep, for once. ]
[How did this get here? When did this happen? Ostensibly it was sometime during Tanabata on day 22, but perhaps she hadn't noticed that there was an arrow in her window-frame until just now??? (seems unlikely, but up to you to fit in as needed!!). If she looks out to investigate, she'll see a little woven pouch hanging from a ribbon, tied to that arrow. It's been charmed to be water proof, the spell dispersing when the ribbon is pulled.
Inside is a little illustrated slip of paper that says "Tenderhearted Telegrams" marking it as something from Bluebell's booth, as well as the following anonymous letter:]
To the new girl on Rose,
You're pretty cool. Hope you enjoyed the festival.
[Joke's on you, her room has no windows as it is underground. But she does spend a lot of time lurking around the Rose barn instead of in it, which no doubt Rook would have been able to notice with his extremely high perception stat. So let's say she found the arrow sticking out of the side of the barn where she's been hanging out lately (the downwind side) at face-height (approximately 4.5 ft off the ground)]
[anyway, she will ultimately find it and unwrap it]

Figured you'd like his cooking more than ours.
