FRUIT PARTY
Who: Everyone
Where: Cafeteria
When: Day 1, Evening
[All flocks will have received an invitation--either handed to the first person he saw or pinned to their barn door with a thumbtack, which reads:]
trading of food
or items of interest
discovered since this morning
are welcome!
[For those who have not yet made their way here before, they will discover that there are six kitchen spaces set aside for each flock, including fridges, plates, glassware, etc. While there are no heating implements for hot food, there is plenty of grass, lettuce, and kale! That's kind of like the base ingredients for a green smoothie, right? And now we'll have all kinds of fruit to add!
Speaking of, the tables have been pulled together and decorated with bouquets of cheerful yellow sunchokes and dried wild grasses, and bowls have been borrowed from each team's cupboards and set onto artfully rolled up blue knit sweaters to hold the fruits for sharing. There is already one large serving-bowl piled high with blueberries for people to take from, though guests are encouraged to just like hand each other fruit to try.]
