Baa-trayal
WHO: Sheep
WHERE: The Pasture
WHEN: 109 afternoon thru evening
[It happened so suddenly--no matter where you were, even if you didn't get caught up in, you suddenly saw the massive, ghostly body of Death standing over the pasture. Whether you were in your barn, the cafeteria, exploring the meadow or forest, it didn't matter. You suddenly found yourself sucked into seemingly another realm, experiencing memories and feelings and urges that certainly did not belong to you. A ritual is being performed, but it was not caused by Weed or Sheep or Blossom. Not, Death herself called this one, in an effort to call attention to. . .something, who knows.
As you eventually wake up from the ritual--possibly with injuries or horrific memories, you will find yourself at the fountain.
Blossom, Stormy, and Lady are also there, soundly asleep. And also tied up. Death is tired of their shit okay.]
[ooc:
SESSIONS | WINNERS/RESULTS | SPIRITS | ROOM NOTES | POST BAA-TRAYAL MINGLE
Note: I'm setting this as 109 since the last game was 107, so there's two full days to back thread stuff yall might need if need be!!]

Re: POST RITUAL MINGLE
...Should I have not?
Re: POST RITUAL MINGLE
Re: POST RITUAL MINGLE
I'm not certain the answer to that is a simple one.
I suppose the short answer is: It was just how I felt at the time.
Re: POST RITUAL MINGLE
... If you don't mind my asking, what's the long answer?
1/?
Where I come from, there isn't a lot of... mmm... interpersonal cohesion, you might say. Actually, it's very competitive, and you can count on people to fuck each other over at the first available opportunity. 'Cause, like, that's really the only way to get by.
This place has been my first real exposure to humans and your collective hive-mindedness. Your... innate instinct to work collaboratively, regardless of the personal cost, and without any apparent expectation of reciprocation.
It's taken me a lot of time to get used to it. And admittedly, I'm still not. Not really.
Re: POST RITUAL MINGLE
I dunno. It,
...made me want to try. Being kind. Altruism, just for the sake of it.
It made me want to try taking better care of the humans around me, just to see what it's like.
3/3
Was that not the correct behavior?
As I said, it felt right at the time, but I dunno. I'm still learning. My understanding of primate behavior is shaky still.
1/2
I'm not sure that behavior is as common among humans as you think, and it certainly isn't innate. This place just has a strangely high concentration of altruistic goody-goodies.
Competitive, everyone seeking to ruin each other at the first opportunity... That certainly sounds more like the society I'm familiar with than all that talk about cooperation and kindness. Though I'm sure court politics are a less bloody version of what you're describing, of course. ... Before I came here, I'd only ever met one person who offered me help without strings attached, you know. Not even my own family would do it.
Re: 3/3
A-Anyway! I didn't mean that it was incorrect or anything like that. It's just, you know... People tend to behave that way toward those important to them. And I wouldn't have assumed...
[ Trails off. ]
Well, if you're saying you would have done the same for anyone, I suppose that makes sense.

...You're alright, though.
I don't care about all humans. Only the ones I like.

And then she fidgets with her hands a little bashfully. ]
O-Oh? Well, that's... relatable. Especially the well part...
