[It happened so suddenly--no matter where you were, even if you didn't get caught up in, you suddenly saw the massive, ghostly body of Death standing over the pasture. Whether you were in your barn, the cafeteria, exploring the meadow or forest, it didn't matter. You suddenly found yourself sucked into seemingly another realm, experiencing memories and feelings and urges that certainly did not belong to you. A ritual is being performed, but it was not caused by Weed or Sheep or Blossom. Not, Death herself called this one, in an effort to call attention to. . .something, who knows.

As you eventually wake up from the ritual--possibly with injuries or horrific memories, you will find yourself at the fountain.

Blossom, Stormy, and Lady are also there, soundly asleep. And also tied up. Death is tired of their shit okay.]

We got off lightly...but I still feel like complaining about the poor treatment to whatever management will listen.

I think that's only Daisy.

I bet she will. She loves getting normal requests.

As long as they're not at midnight.

But, it's barely evening. She should still be around. And something sweet might be good for our energy levels.

We deserve a treat after the last few days anyway. Let's get Charon and go.

No kidding. Haven't we had more bloody rituals this week than we have in the last month?! This is getting out of hand!

This one was more weird than bloody for me. Almost refreshing after the last two.

Charon got possessed and ate my soul. By ripping my throat out. The scars will probably heal with time.

Are you actually calm about that, or are you pretending because you're worried I'll freak out?

I wouldn't say I'm calm about it. I'm really, really pissed off! I told him not to do it and then he did it anyways! Even if he was possessed I can still be angry about that. It didn't hurt enough to freak out over, but there's a good chance I'll throw him in the pool later. I'll try to keep the commotion to a minimum, though. Promise.

Oye, oye, I think you can make as much commotion as you want after that. Do you want any help cornering him?

[he's too tired to be concealing anything else; he does look strung out, but mostly. mad.]

Knowing him, he'll accept whatever punishment I throw at him. If you could be backup so he doesn't wallow in too much self-recrimination, I'd appreciate it.
