The two chat about SOMETHING for a couple minutes, before the little demon baps its hooves together. Before you can escape into the safety of your barns, all who were around are suddenly swept up, pulled in the middle of the pasture. . .with each of you at a podium.

You cannot move from the podium, but the podiums themselves can move around kinda like those. Moving scooter things in cities. beep beep. You can't leave the area tho.

The little demon speaks up:

I do not wish to fight over it. But I do not find it fair that he should have the sole decision as number one. I think there should be more of a discussion. Or people should draw upon certain lots.

I do not want to die in another game again, or experience any more discomfort than I am already feeling.

If you think about it, any of the far extremes could be dangerous. Perhaps the top slot is more rewarding, or perhaps it isn't.

If you were in slot two or three then you're more likely to be safe in the long run.

Or I could be wrong! Who's to say.

Another option might be to grab a number, aside from 10, that no one is competing over. Let them fight over the higher ones. That could also be dangerous.
