Sure, probably, and in my experience extra moons usually mean some sort of overlapping world parasitism situation, but who cares. Now I have to take moonslight out of all my writings. That's the real problem here.

[ Come around sunset, Zenith or Spinel will mention wanting those they find around the pasture to come gather by Clover’s fence; once it appears an adequate amount of people have arrived, Spinel slides off from her spot upon the fence, but Zenith still leans against it. ]

It may be obvious to most of you, but we appear to have lost a moon last night.

Spinel and I decided to try and contact the Holy Beast of Dreams- the dream sheep several of you might already be aware of. We learned quite a lot of very useful information from her, however...

Our visit was cut annoyingly short, as wolves invaded the dream and began to tear parts of her away. We both made an attempt to fight them away from her, but they managed to steal enough that half of her face crumbled. That was the now-missing moon.

[ Spinel nods, as if confirming his words are true, before continuing on: ]

I don't know what more we can do for her now, but... Like he said, we did learn something before it all went south—that we have a chance of saving the Wolf King.

In short? We'll have to find a way into his dreams and his soul simultaneously and find a way to heal him, but it has to be done at the same time. And this is going to take a lot more than we can do on our own, so... we're calling for everyone's help on this. We need to start preparing, obviously, and, uh—

... We're hoping someone knows a thing or two about getting into someone's soul. We've got the dream half covered, at least.

[today after all the info announcements you may catch a big white-and-red feathery dragon just fucking around the pasture at random! taking experimental flights; ambling around on the ground; draping onto the roofs of public buldings or flattening down into the white lilies just inside Lily's fence gate; maybe rolling in the sand in the beach in a particularly unguarded moment.

he's not collared, but even if your character didn't see him last October during monster transformations, the Lily staff strapped across his back in a makeshift harness is a pretty solid identifying clue.
