The green ones are Clovers. Aren't they all kids? If you're gonna fight, at least fight with someone who isn't a decade younger than you.

[VICIOUS IS... not at the meeting. He is not aware there is a meeting. Or probably even that there is a group to meet.

Instead, he's heading into the dark forest, which seems like a much more natural place to spend the night.]

[it's a good trek to the forest, about half an hour or so, but hey, Vicious is fast, and that means he gets to take in a scenic view of the meadow outside the fence. Look at all that rolling grass and sleeping pygmies and lake and also there are two moons??? Wack.

The forest, however, is less scenic. Likely no more daunting than what he recalls from home, but there's a perpetual darkness that lays over it, accompanied by an ominous presence.

So like, basic rpg shit.

Eventually he hits branching paths--will he go to a thicker wooded area, a clearing, or the swamp?]

[This is all very familiar. Vicious assumes there are dangerous monsters lurking in the woods, because there are dangerous monsters lurking in all woods. He's not worried about it, and not being very careful about it, because historically there are no monsters more dangerous than he is, and skimping on caution makes things a little more interesting.

That said, he's not necessarily looking for a fight at the moment, just trying to figure out if there's a good place to make camp, so he heads for the clearing.]

TO THE CLEARING HE GOES. He'll approach some shrubbery--and behind it, he'll find a small cluster of deer. And not just any deer. The fawns have gems for spots, and the does have gems for eyes, and the lone stag. . .is massive, standing strong with brilliant, mixed gem antlers.

Its ears swivel and it immediately turns toward Vicious, snorting.]

[Vicious grins at it.]

Oh, hey there. You look like you're prob'ly made out of meat.

[It snorts once more, and the fawns and does retreat into the woods.

The stag approaches, eyeing Vicious with contempt.
