[howdy pardners are you all having a good chill time?? Avoiding shadow flowers and the like? good good.

But hey did you notice Several of them encircling thistle's barn? Did you just now notice?? WELL TOO LATE.

Suddenly each flower circling the barn twists and warps, shooting up into the sky like a golden beam--wait no, it actually is gold! The entirety of the Thistle barn has been trapped in golden cage, and their field rumbles as a massive golden skeleton claws its way from the ground. It is SO tired of Thistle, and it is time to bring its fight to them, as it raises a golden skeleton hand to try and swipe at the barn.

A Golden Heart.

The world around them wavers, the palace fading, gold melting and seeping into the ground, and they find themselves surrounded by the familiar pasture. The physicality of the Gold Demon itself is also melting, its bones falling upon the grass and flowers as it reaches weakly for its heart with blank, unseeing eye sockets in its skull.

The heart floats over a bloody rune--vaguely thistle shaped. When did that get there?? Why does Red have a bandaid?? Don't worry about it. He claps his paws!]

Welp! What should ya do with this?

[Lupin is still grinning like a loon when they return to the pasture. he has never looked as hyped up and excited as he is now]

It'd be pretty easy to destroy the thing right here and now, wouldn't it?

[noting the rune, plus Red's bandage]

. . . but I think this guy deserves something a little harsher than death. Don't you?

I have two ideas.

One: would it be possible for someone to. . . say, absorb the power this demon possesses?

And two: can we shove his soul into eternal hell?

One: It's not impossible no~ But how do you suppose you'd go about it?

Two: but of course! But that's just killing him. Keeheehee!

[glancing at his teammates, before turning back to Red, lifting his hands to trace the outline of his mask around his features]

I'd turn him into a mask. Into. . . a part of myself.

We did it once before. . . the only reason he came back is because of that Weed's time powers.

Just because that's the only way we know of that he came back doesn't mean it's the only way he could come back.

I want to see if there's a way for us to absorb his power. Failing that. . . what about sending him straight to hell?

If we really do take his power it shouldn't be me. Anyone else can take it.
