WHEN: 99 evening.

[howdy pardners are you all having a good chill time?? Avoiding shadow flowers and the like? good good.

But hey did you notice Several of them encircling thistle's barn? Did you just now notice?? WELL TOO LATE.

Suddenly each flower circling the barn twists and warps, shooting up into the sky like a golden beam--wait no, it actually is gold! The entirety of the Thistle barn has been trapped in golden cage, and their field rumbles as a massive golden skeleton claws its way from the ground. It is SO tired of Thistle, and it is time to bring its fight to them, as it raises a golden skeleton hand to try and swipe at the barn.

[ooc: NOTE, the fight is for thistles only (and any thistle adjacent weeds they may invite/that happen to be around) but others are free to spectate from outside the cage! ]

That's an incredibly vague explanation!!

[But she does attempt to do it anyway, trying for some self-awareness and then reaching up to grab onto the mask she hadn't fully noticed she was wearing. There is more resistance to pulling it off than she expects]

[Lupin, on the other hand, isn't surprised. . . if only because he knows how difficult that first summoning is for everyone]

You have to let yourself go! Give in to that part of yourself-- focus on your anger, your spite, and everything that drives you to be who you are deep inside!

[Flora definitely has some of that. She thinks back to her quick disillusionment with authority when she started out her job. With all the terrible things that happened and all the times she was told to stay out of it and stay in her lane. And she remembers the conviction she built that she wasn't going to do that. That she was going to follow her heart and do what she wanted to do with no regrets.]

A... Persona...

[She rips her mask off her face in one motion with a strangled noise.]

[And then she looks up with a determined gaze.]

[A partially transparent woman appears. I am not coming up with a full design on the fly, but she looks very cool and has a lot of flowers.]

[YEEEEEEEEEEES. brimming with excitement, his expression lit up like fire]

That's the way!

[She turns back to the demon]

[jazz hands, look at his FLORA]

[ducking another splash of gold, twirling in a dramatic fashion so his coattails whirl around him]

and that's when he feels a surge coursing through him. that kick to his adrenaline snaps and he rips off his own mask-]
